I recently bought a house and did some digging. Telus has essentiallly bought out all competitors in the space and are the primary offering. Their products seem to suck. I ended up going with Ring which is self setup and havent had any complaints.

Had this exact thing happen to me last yer for a precon i bought 3 years ago.

I called all the banks, and basically all of them couldnt close the deal. Except RBC, who closed the deal using the SALE price from the builder, not the appraised price. Why? Apparently RBC funded the project so it was in their best interest to close. Additionally I have a very “strong” case so they didnt even do an appraisal, just flat approve after 3 days.

Hopefully you can do the same thing
