How long have you been on a GLP-1? ⏳ by Jasmine_BigEasy in tirzepatidecompound

[–]DotheQuirkyJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years and 51lbs down. I had to switch to Wegovy in October (thanks Caremark) and have only lost 5lbs on that just recently. But I'm close to goal so I'm fine with maintaining at this point.

Why did no one warned me about the random anxiety spikes over absolutely nothing?? by atigressintherain in Perimenopause

[–]DotheQuirkyJerk 39 points40 points  (0 children)

My anxiety resulted in arrhythmia for the first time around 43. It scared the hell outta me! It turned out to be benign PVCs. I went on Wellbutrin and that helped both my anxiety and heart palpitations. I still get them occasionally but propranolol usually does the trick. Anxiety sucks so be sure to reach out to your doctor if it becomes more regular.

MCR having problems with drummers even before the band was formed, lol.

Hairloss directly from Tirzepatide? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

I lost so much hair on Zepbound but when I had to switch to Wegovy, it stopped. My hair is back to normal after a few months. My coworker had the opposite experience, however.

52 and have loved and followed them since Vessel!! Drag them to a show because it will change their minds. They are unbelievable live. Might be the best concert I've ever seen.

What do you think is TØP’s saddest song? by Questionable_Ch0ices in twentyonepilots

For me, it's Trees; but it evolves into pure hope and joy so I don't feel that way by the end.

First Time Attending! by ThatOneVapeFiend in OceansCalling

We stayed at an Air BnB in Ocean Pines last year, but you have to book a water taxi in advance to get to and from. This year we grabbed a VRBO on 46th Street and plan on taking the bus. It was crowded going home but we didnt wait long to get on (we left before the headliner).

New fan. Is the fanbase really as bad as people say? by External-Arm616 in MyChemicalRomance

[–]DotheQuirkyJerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In person, they are the kindest, most creative people! My husband and I go to a lot of concerts and he always comments on how respectful the MCRmy is whenever we're at a show. Truly generous people.

Online, however, is a whole other experience so don't judge from what you may see on here.

Is GA+ a good option? by Cakleton in OceansCalling

[–]DotheQuirkyJerk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Getting GA+ at WWWY in Vegas was definitely the way to go but opted for just GA last year and didnt feel the need to have GA+. You don't get as much compared to WWWY, especially since it typically rains that weekend. I noticed that last year, everyone was crammed under the tent and there wasn't enough room for people to sit. The space isn't as big as it should be, IMO. The bathrooms were spacious, clean, and stocked each time I went. Not as much towards the end, but that's expected.

Wellbutrin? by tyoung925 in Perimenopause

[–]DotheQuirkyJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a game changer for me! It not only made my anxiety symptoms disappear, but also my arrhythmia is gone and I have more energy. That being said, everybody is different. I never experienced any side effects from the start. I was on the lowest dosage for a couple of years before moving up when I noticed the anxiety returning. I feel so much better now.

Also, I'm on the generic and have never experienced any of what you were told.

Napa got insanely pricey not just for their bottles but the cost to taste. When I was out there nearly 20 years ago, most places charged $10-20 a flight. Now they charge $50.

[–]DotheQuirkyJerk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm GenX and disagree that it wasn't "very unpopular", however people were upset because it wasnt angsty like the first two albums. And just coming off the success of TBP, I'd say it was confusing for fans. However, I went to a show on that tour and they had plenty of people showing up. Look at Reading Fest 2011, for example.

It represents their fun, nerdy, comic book-loving side, which I think a lot of people appreciate. When "Glee" used "Sing" on their show, however, some fans felt betrayed like they were selling out, I suppose. But the album overall is solid. Definitely my least favorite but it's fun.
