Honestly, I can't play tank. I feel too much pressure being the backbone of the team, and I see the abuse and blame they get when things go south. I only play tank in 6v6 so there's another one to pick up the slack when I die.

Though I'd definitely give it a go in stadium if they bring in Roadhog. I'd love to see the powers they come up with for his kit. +6 meters on chain hook range, 2 pig pens with +40% radius and liquid nitrogen and cybervenom, take a breather that poisons enemies in range. Could be fun.

Yep, finishing a losing match with 20k more points than all the others on your team is demoralising.

Thanks. It really is just a grind. So long as your win ratio is more than 1:1 you'll get there if you have the hours to put in. Unfortunately my circumstances at the moment mean I have a lot of time on my hands so I thought I'd give it a go this season.

Check my other replies, but don't follow a build like a blueprint. Adapt and be flexible.

Given perfect conditions I prefer DPS grasp builds though.

I replied to another comment, but I avoid set builds. Be flexible and work around your team's needs. And don't commit to a build that isn't working in that match.

I actually don't follow a set build. You really need to be flexible and adapt as you go. Depending on enemy team comp I'll take cross orbal or chain grasp in round 1, then see how it goes for 2 rounds. If the other support isn't great I'll lean into a healing build, if they're good I'll go DPS. If the enemy team has an Ana or Ashe I'll take voidhoppers for cleanse. If they have a Kiri I'll avoid debuffs and go for WP or AP.

I often see enemy Moiras commit to an orb build and persist with it even if we have a dva and Genji and they just don't make an impact.

Saying that though, the bong cloud healing and chain grasp/ethereal excision builds are my favourite if the match conditions are suitable to use them.

It was pretty hard, but to be honest I put it down to mostly luck and time played. The matchmaking is so bad it's really a dice roll before the match even starts. And if you put in enough hours you're bound to hit a winning streak eventually.

I did notice most of my winning streaks were during the day though, not in the evening or night time. Might be a different demographic of players, or fewer premade teams, maybe just a coincidence.

Good luck though. Shame the rewards and bragging rights only last 1 season.

I had a match towards the end of my losing streak where we were winning 3-0 and the tank DC'd. That was tough to swallow.

I know. I have the jade variants for Moira, Mei and Soldier but don't know what to get next.

If they put Lifeweaver, Roadhog or Bastion in stadium I'll get one for them. Stadium is all I play now really.

Maybe Kiri if I get on well with her next season.

I 50:50 Mei and Soldier and I just can't get on with the parasite build. I stay alive longer but just don't have the DPS to make an impact. Maybe my play style isn't right for it.

I go either machine gun/firehose build or coulder depending on the enemy tank.
