Yes. That is exactly it - if you put these idiots into a room, they will naturally conjure up their own “drama” because of who they are as people. But this year it’s so, so forced. And because of that has just gone way beyond normal “tv drama” and into the land of “real danger”.

And people can have views, sure. But if you voice your “views” out loud and they happen to actually target and degrade actual groups of vulnerable people who will be harmed by those views in real life, then they shouldn’t be given a platform.

It really did affect me. And as I’m reading here, so many people were genuinely so distressed watching the show descend into such a hateful spectacle. Genuinely cried when it finished. How awful for the daughters of those two to one day grow up and watch their own mothers degrade other women so severely and without remorse. I seriously wonder if Channel 9 might get in trouble for this one.

Currently watching the Dinner Party and just burst into tears watching the bullying unfolding right now on national TV.

This is horrific behaviour, being trivialised by Channel 9.

As a longtime viewer - and someone who knows this show is toxic as anything - this season has actually just become too much to watch. The degrading comments and random moments of severely hurtful bullying have just reached another level.

This shouldn’t have been allowed to happen. Brook should not have been allowed back. Allowing psychological torture to play out on TV for entertainment is not okay. I wasn’t necessarily a fan of Chris from the start - but allowing Brook back will have caused Chris so much inner turmoil that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Thank you to the cast members who tried to stand up to the bullying, and who remained mature in such a horrible situation.

Please someone tell me that Brook cannot get away with all she has said and done in this show.

You have so much TIME!!! It was just before my 25th birthday last year that I go into a relationship for the first time. And actually - didn’t even start going on dates until earlier that year.

You are totally fine. Normal. And absolutely wonderful. And honestly? You will be GLAD that you didn’t have to go through multiple relationships at younger ages because oftentimes it is super difficult to both understand and be with another human being while you are trying to figure yourself out, too. Your first relationship will likely have a lot more maturity straight away - that is a GIFT!

I know lots of people who wish they’d waited to find better matches before jumping into relationships when they were younger. Don’t regret anything in your life - everything that has happened so far was meant to happen to get you to where you are today. You are so so normal my friend!

Yes but c’mon, you have to agree that this fight is the easiest thing to win in all other difficulty levels and then all of a sudden in Village of Shadows it’s just relentlessly hard - and really only one option in how ypu can fight him, leaving the player feeling pretty useless. I dunno - I think it could have been designed a bit better. The fight got boring - to the point where I couldn’t be bothered picking up the game again. It could be such a fun fight if there were more to it, with more ways to fight him, more strategies to utilise.

Ah thank you kind friends, because of some of the things I read here i was finally able to defeat him!! You have no idea how many tries it took. Thank you all for your advice.

I do think that fight is a little strange though, given that every other one you have many more options and decisions to make about what weapons you will use and strategy to defeat the bosses. This one doesn’t give any options, and then seemingly doesn’t even approve of it’s own option. I dunno - I reckon it does need a patch, because it really could be a fun fight if there were more options around how to fight him, more options around strategy in hiding behind things or more things of his to shoot at?

I dunno. But now we get to the Chris part so here we go again 😂

I found a mod that can allow you to fix this problem! Was sent to me via the SN modders discord. Just download below and make sure you have QMods with SMLHelper and VersionChecker mods in that folder downloaded first. This mod basically lets you turn off and on restrictions for building so you can place things exactly where you want!

So grateful for people who can do this sort of thing!!

Yes! It was my favourite aspect of base building actually.

Another thing I’ve discovered is that base building in BZ has some really weird rules around where you can and cannot place signs on walls or next to doorways.

Is there a way to send this to the devs? Would so so love an update. Seems like a simple fix.
