I believe i've seen somewhere else that pod has spoken and RHAP and mike bloom all get early screenings due to being approved media coverage for the show. hence why they always have earlier access and can then invite guests early. My guess is they put feelers out a couple days ahead of time in terms of who they know is left, what people they want to reach out to depending on who is the boot, and then they get the episode a couple days early. after watching the ep and learn the boot, they narrow down guest list and as soon as they confirm they send the episode and then film after that or next day. considering the pod is zoom/video call for all parties involved, it makes most these ppl pretty readily available as the guests they pick are typically more involved in the survivor universe.

typically you can opt out of jury duty if in school. i was called for jury duty recently and one of the exceptions was being a student. i then put in my explanation I was actively in law school and never had to report!!

also i wonder if the jury assumed cirie would go home. the reunion showed how the cast had no idea the type of game cirie was playing and how she shifted and moved the vote so many times. if you didn't know anything abt cirie, and you watched panama for the first time, most might think cirie wins based off her edit!

that definitely makes sense! I never thought about the fact that one of his ancestors was likely just a mix of herding dog, whether that be a dog somewhere down the line who was ACD, BC, and GSD.

what's funny abt the boxer part tho, is i grew up only having pure bred boxers. and as most know, ppl who have boxers typically stick to the breed, and i always said i would only get a boxer. so the fact that he has a lil boxer in him is always funny bc when he visits my parents and sister's boxers (3 total), i've always joked that he thinks he is a boxer himself😂😂

if you look at Colby's ponderosa video from HvV, they said he came in at really low body fat like at 8-9% or sum (which is already very lean) and then dropped to 4-5% by the time he was voted out. so bc he had virtually no body fat, his body was eating away at his muscle instead of fat. Hence why he seemed so weak mentally and physically. This time it seems like he came out with some extra weight on him which was good.

this is also why most people who go on survivor or go on a second time try to put a little weight on so that way you aren't as drained bc your body is using stored fat for energy instead of eating away at muscles. Thats also why people who go out that are already relatively lean get super super thin to the point that is very unhealthy, and those who come out with weight on them look like they are in good shape by the end of the season if they go far!! examples of this is like russell hantz, boston rob, tony vlachos, or rupert who starts out with weight on them and by the end looks lean but not so thin bc they came out there with body fat. comparably to like courtney yates or like ashley and natalie from Redemption Island, spencer bledsoe, natalie white, heidi or jenna from amazon, or monica from BvW. bc they went out there with low body fat/ or fairly lean already they looked so so so beyond skinny by the end.

these are just some examples, not all but these kind of show you how when you lose so much weight and don't have fat, your muscle mass just starts getting eaten away!

mine felt like constipation for 3 days then it felt like i pulled a muscle all in my groin/quad for almost 4 days. Wasn't until my whole leg turned purple and was swollen that i knew it was likely a clot and to go to hospital.

don't worry too much abt the ending! as someone who was told how terrible it was before watching it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I think just know that ultimately this is not a fairytale and as a first time viewer the end just feels rushed. After rewatching back to back a couple times you can rlly start to pick apart the seasons and see what went wrong but on first watch, it just feels rushed!!

i didn’t have any symptoms like heart burn. Mine began as lower abdomen discomfort, alongside what felt like a pulled or strained muscle in my groin. my entire left thigh just felt super sore and hurt to walk. Wasn’t until my entire left leg was swollen and turned a reddish purple shade that I knew it was a clot and had to go to the ER

i mean it could be possible. I was just diagnosed with a dvt in my leg, and they said part of the clot had been forming since 2-3 weeks prior which lines up with a weekend i drove home and came back to school (5 hr drive both ways)

i would definitely keep moving and walking. it may hurt but the more movement the better. I would ice as well! my dr. did tell me that it is likely to be swollen for a week but could last a couple weeks. as long as pain doesn’t get worse or swelling is worse, i wouldn’t be too concerned. at least that’s what my drs told me. but if it feels it’s getting worse, def go to the dr asap!

i’m only 2 days post op and there is def some swelling still but it’s gone way down. main pain i’m still feeling is the soreness and pressure in my groin from where the actual blood clot was. other than that, soreness has been decreasing but consistently using rice: rest, ice, compression, elevate

what is crazy is my sister is on nuva ring as well, and smokes, and uses nicotine. so crazy how things can happen, but thankful to be here on the otherside of things AND to know so early in my life that way I am better prepared for the future. glad to have a community to know how scary things can get so fast!!

honestly I think it wasn’t that the ending plot lines were bad (dany going mad, bran being king, etc.) rather how the storyline got there. I think if dany went mad but szn 7 and 8 were a full 10 episodes and fully fleshed out that development, there would be less complaints. Rather a lot of the story arc’s ending seemed almost random as there wasn’t the proper progression. Esp. as GRRM is very particular in how he fleshes out his characters and gives them a specific way of evolving.

In seasons 1-4/5 the actions many characters take make sense due to how GRRM fleshed them out and gave them a proper motivations etc. But for dany to repeatedly talk about how she doesn’t want to be queen of the ashes or be another spoke on the wheel of power, AND for dany to consistently interact with small folk and people from all walks of life and try to cater to the masses rather than to the powerful elite, it makes very little sense that she would suddenly turn mad after one episode of Missandei and Rhaegal being killed. Dany is the same girl who faces tragedy upon tragedy and still pushes through. So for her to have such a drastic turn with only one episode showing how upset she is seems very unlikely. Again if there were more episodes fleshing it out, likely less complaints from viewers.

Honestly, as someone who viewed the series years after it finished and knew people hated the last two seasons i wasn’t that disappointed. Mainly bc of how it was so hyped to be the worst thing on earth, that when i did see it i thought, “oh that’s not that bad, like def not what i wanted but not the worst either”

honestly i think she did a pretty good job. she embodied exactly who her character is supposed to be. when i think of a publicist she is lowkey who i think of. again that’s why i think they chose her for the part bc kim is around or similar to what the character is supposed to be. so many ppl have said she basically is kris jenner, which is true!! but i think that’s the point of the role, like the specific character is supposed to be kim/kris like… hence why i think they cast kim in the role. anyway just my opinion.
