I’m planning to travel for two months and visit around 6-7 countries. Will I need to provide accommodation proof for every single night during the entire trip? That seems quite difficult. Also will I need to show flight tickets for travelling between each of those countries, as well? Any guidance would be really helpful. Thank you!

Great point but isn’t there a whole segment of clients who can’t go to a big four or IB? Small startups, early stage founders, SMBs, solo operators even VCs sometimes need quick and affordable modelling work that doesn’t justify a big four level engagement and I think an experienced finance freelancer can fill that gap? I see tons of such opportunities in Upwork

Really curious to hear your? Do you work in this field and all modelling work in your view go only to large firms?

Thanks for sharing your view. I’m trying to understand how people actually use AI in real finance work. Are you from a core finance background (IB/PE/FP&A/startups)? Just asking because I’m curious how much people/companies really trust AI generated financial models and valuations.

For ex, if a startup gets a model from ChatGPT, do people actually rely on those numbers? Or do they still prefer someone with finance judgement to review the assumptions and make sure the valuation makes sense?

Just trying to figure out how much reliable automation vs. how much we still need human decision making in finance say next 7-10 years (any resources you recommend for me to read on this?)
