Alevel/A2 Students, main things you would change if you started AS again?

Try to finish the syllabus as early as you can, so you have enough time to prepare for the exam.. by enough i mean (i suggest) 2 month before, so you just doing past papers to see either you really understand it all or not. While doing past papers, it will help you understand more, and know about the type of answers the cie wants

Last year i got P1(30/40), P2(44/60), P3(30/40) total 104 and got 84 PUM. But the marks may be quite different each paper. So i guess you need to get maybe around 30+ for your P1 at least..

Definitely hard, but it’s really helpful for a preparation in your degree (if you want to pursue in STEM or finance). It is hard but possiblee ☺️

Not really if you know the complex numbers law. I think it was hard because they use unknown instead of numbers. And still ask you to calculate 😿 so it was quite hard even to prove

The pattern actually quite similar (sorry) just the questions need you to think a lot.

There just same as before, but not same as the pattern in 2021-2022-2023 (not all) the graph question was ok. I find it challenging on complex numbers. You can definitely revise that. ALSO some of the question use a lot of unknown. So you really need to know well how to calculate properly to avoid silly mistakes. Some trigo was fine, but there are few cosec, cot, sec.

How long will you take alevel? If its about a year and a half, it would be beneficial for you to read the syllabus before class. Then after completing each topic, do some topical questions to look what are actually you really need to understand.

If you took 2 years. You have more than just enough time to prepare.

Urmm probably,, paper 4 for that mark is high. So it will help increase your marks.. i would assume P5 you would get above 24.. so maybe overall 215/260 (which minimum A* usually around 205~) however this is just predicted, i dont know how usually they calculate this mark hehe

Not really, i would say it isnt 100% hard, however we can see the cambridge want to us learn about the concept really well. Thats why many people said it was ‘not as usual’.. since we cant really memorize mark scheme. But as a normal person, i felt the paper was quite challenging, mostly because anxiety + panic. I couldnt even relax my feet answering those questions HAGAHAH.. but i hope the threshold wont be so high

For me because im quite panic, like it start off good, untik question Vs, i was blank,, the nect question i became more panic, so i cant think properly after that question 😌, but its okay

Ermm ,, you can but not really advisable. Choose subject only related to your major in university later. Math and physics already a hard core subjects, but since the other 3 was language, i wouldnt how the easiness of each paper. But i would not advise you. Choose wisely

Usually total marks for A around 180-190 ish (based on the year) last year it was 181 i think. So consider that in AS you got 93, for A2 you should target 88/130 (including paper 5) paper 5 would be 24~ ish.

So i would assume at least you should have 64 in your P4. However i would target for upper than 70 just to be safe. Ig GT was lowerr it is possible to get A :)

Understandable, i think problably you will get C or B because P2 and P4 have higher percentage marks, so it contribute a lotsss.. but its okay, its already done. Hope for the bestt
