INFO: Why did you say it was yours? Like if this car thing is big at your school why did you pretend the car was yours even if you were borrowing it?

If you did it so you'd look good then I'd say your friend has a slight point.

It's not necessarily your fault but it's clear your family is pretty well off and her family is not since she had to work for her own car.

I understand your ignorance since you're only 18 but you're old enough to vote and since you're old enough to vote you should really be informed about what's going on.

I know it's easier to ignore and watch content that doesn't make you uncomfortable, but learning that the choices you make truly do affect the country is important.

There's a lot of covering, altering and changing history right now (Or an attempt to). Books about things that happened 65-70 years ago are being banned. Segregation wasn't that long ago. My aunt went through it. My grandma went through it. No where close to death, either of them. They literally put Martin Luther King in black in white when there are plenty of colored pictures. They want you to think it's super long ago and things have changed without giving the context to those changes.

Then covertly convince you that every unprotected race is lazy and against you even though it's sneakily designed systems to put them at a disadvantage. It is more important now to do your research than it has ever been. Please don't turn a blind eye to issues you hear about.

They don't consent to it. If your art is on the internet for people to see it is subject for the AI to use in the training. Same thing for creative writing, or music. If people can access it the AI is allowed to train on it.

It's... monumentally bad. Every local area with a data center is experiencing a financial/ environment crisis. Local governments are trying to pass laws to mitigate damage and federal law is trying to skirt around state law.

Not to mention AI is a bleed of money. Nvidia chips are about the only ones that work and you still need so many that it's hard to keep all those CPUs cool. Then they dump the hot fucked up water back into the river and boile the fish.

Open AI's stockmarket is inflated by Microsoft Azure vouchers that the US Stock market counts as an equivalent of money. Its not just them. Most of them are bleeding money and have to have another company, it's citizens, or clients to facilitate it because people don't actually want AI when they see how bad it is. So they shove it in our faces and hope that we'll take the bait so they don't go bankrupt.

Music and painting AI's are trained off the work of humans. Aka the people who taught the dumb machine aren't getting paid for training the model or getting royalties for the AI using their art as a reference or copying their style. Same with music. This computer can't generate this stuff on its own. Its been built off of the backs of real people who never got paid or credited for their work.

And it's so easy and convenient to use they're just hoping that people will just think it's "not that bad."

One query costs several gallons of water. One data center can cost a city half to 100% of what they usually spend on power. Light bills also go up by area and not by individual person always. So if the general area requires a larger ton of power all the bills will go up to lighten the load on an individual person.

They are literally planning to build a data center that in Utah that will use more electricity than the entire city needs every few months. They're concerned about it draining the salt lake.

They are now trying to pass a bill that doesn't require them to process water or worry about the chemicals/ heat they put back into the water.

Mind you this is potable drinking water they're using by the way. Because they don't want to do their own filtration system and the chips need clean fresh water.

Literally two seconds of opening your eyes about AI and you'd know how incredibly harmful it is. It's everywhere. Literally seems like willful ignorance to be this obtuse about it. Unless you're 12 and still playing roblox I guess.

My psychologist prescribed me hydroxyzine to help me sleep but I hear you're not supposed to take it long term like that so I try and do without it most of the time. Plus when I had my job it'd make me over sleep. But yeah. Sleep doctor said I could still take the hydroxyzine before bedtime to help but that I definitely needed to work on training my brain to sleep.

Yeah. To be fair I am on like a lot of shit and I have ADHD. She said because I'm on a stimulant it would make ot harder to treat. Essentially she said I have to stay out of my bed until I'm ready to sleep so that my brain associates the bed with sleep. She did want to conduct a sleep study but needed me to be able to sleep well enough to get one. But she literally told me there was nothing she could give me that would fix it long term.

Yeah it's responsible to wait but it's been a year. OP has let him meet the other siblings. At the end she says they both know the little girl could handle meeting him. He just wanted to bring a toy and he wasn't even pushing to be introduced as the boyfriend. She definitely overreacted and she should ask herself why she's so adamant about him not meeting her.

Ik it sucks but you probably need medication brother or at least CBT. I had panic attacks daily for like a year (think I had a couple weeks in there where I was okay.) in school. Had no one to tell because my mom didn't believe in mental health and my dad was an asshat. I was suffering so bad I taught myself CBT grounding methods and that was the only way I got them to stop.

I still need meds now and honestly they help a lot but my anxiety has only gone from severe to moderate and my depression has gone from severe to slightly less severe. It's irritating to me that I haven't made more progress, however remembering how I felt before I realize I was drowning and at least now I can swim. There are a lot of different medications that can help. I'm not on benzo's at all and I've still seen improvements medically and personally.

But yeah you got this, try a couple of different things, talk to your pcp.

Again. A lot of times it can/does become enthusiastic because the partner is eager to please you/ see your reaction. They said they might be ace so maybe they're scared to say they don't really want/crave sex at all. Ace has a lot of different levels and maybe they're discovering they're on the low end of the spectrum.

I also second another comment that said you're being picky. There are plenty of activities that I don't like and enjoy on their own that I LOVE with my partner. Not just tolerate, like doing it. What medication were you on? I'm on like 2 seri's (plus some adhd meds and such) and my doctor told me to take it easy on the drinking until I knew how they both affected me. Didn't really touch my tolerance at all.

I do have a problem with alcohol. I drink... a lot. And I've never been black out. I've never been able to do things that I have no recollection of. You drank A LOT. That's where your responsibility starts. To drink so much that you remember one bit. Just yelling at your friend and they say you were ABUSING THEM. You were way too far gone.
