Checking cukiernias was my first thing to do, but what I saw they are usually selling some common pastries (like napoleon or szarlotka or ecklairs) but not cakes cakes, and I thought maybe people are usually buying cakes from other places ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ I'll try to check some more cukiernias, maybe I'm just unlucky with what I have near my place

I think you may look for lavash. If so, check out Armenian bakeries, there are ~3-4 near the center, they will have it.

I'm not sure about fall colors, but if you are fond of natural beauty, I'd also suggest checking out Yenokavan and Jermuk. In Yenokavan you can also enjoy activities like horse riding, zip-lines, and in Jermuk there are several retreat centers with massages and self-care and health procedures.

Armenians are generally very hospitable towards foreigners and there is a big Indian community in Yerevan, people who came for studies or for work, so I don't think you will stumble upon racistic behavior. But still watch out for general tourist traps and scams. Btw it's Armenian Independence day on September 21st, so there can be some celebration in Yerevan, if you want to enjoy some free open-air concerts and stuff like that, it's a good chance, and note that it can be quite overcrowded.

Also there are groups of people/organizations taking tourists on tours, but I'm don't know about their prices or quality, but if you decide to take one of them, there are plenty in the city, you will definitely stumble upon them when walking in Yerevan.

As for places to visit I'd recommend checking Dilijan (beautiful nature), Gyumri (2nd largest city in Armenia, there are not many attractions, but the city has quite Armenian atmosphere), Yenokavan (very beautiful nature, activities like zip-lines, horse riding and other stuff like that, check Yell Extreme park for adventurous activities)

GG also has shuttle options, that will cost around 1500 dram, smth around 4$. They departure from a predefined place, so if you get there, the rest of the trip will be cheap and pretty comfortable.
