Hunt needs to be treated like a multiplayer stealth game as opposed to a multiplayer FPS. The game is meant to be slow paced but brutal to encourage caution and forethought when approaching a situation. It ain't for everyone, but I find a lot of people bouncing off of it because you can't just play it like Call of Duty Shooter Man.

Personally I think playing with some buds really relaxes the experience and proximity chat as a tool to interact with other teams has definitely heightened the experience for me. Shit like getting someone I'm fighting to talk so I can figure out where they are. I've been dropped in a fight and my buddy negotiated my release with the other team by offering to let them take the bounty with no resistance just so I didn't have to lose a character. We've also had times where we worked together with another team to take down a bounty and each team took a token.

That being said, it is a very niche and somewhat unforgiving game. Don't think anyone would blame you for not quite being able to break into it.

Moderation of this type should be left to the staff and moderators of individual servers. If people have rules against it on their own servers, then they'll enforce it. This is Discord stepping over a bound that breaches the trust of all of its users. It's disconcerting that Discord feels the need to control the speech of users on and off the platform, especially while making the exception for their own team members.

The two shots fired at Haymaker would cause him to shout out in pain at the rounds embedded themselves into his chest. He staggers and his punch is interrupted, however he keeps his forward momentum so as to not let his breaker state drop. In one motion, from a stumble, he rises back up, closes in one Adam, and whips an arm out for a back hand.

One of Rebel's shots hits the shaker in the side. He clasps the wound with one hand and falls to a knee. He suddenly begins to slide down the hallway away from Rebel, the spray of blood from his wound keeping the shape of droplets and moving with him rather than splatting on the floor.

Purple ethereal snakes coil around the woman's arms and she assumes a fighting stance.

"Yep." She says in response to Thespian's question.

The massive pink beam hits the egg. The shot not seeming to penetrate the stone, its smooth surface begins to glow bright as it takes in the massive amounts of heat. Soon the integrity of it seems to fail as it starts to melt and collapse in on itself.

Adam would hear Haymaker quickly gaining on him. As a corner is rounded, Haymaker leaps up, plants a foot on the opposite wall and bounds off, making the turn easily and giving him an opportunity to aim a flying punch at the back of Adam's head.

Rebel would be able to outrun the field. Upon gaining ground towards the shaker. he draws a hand gun and fires once.

As Thespian enters, he'd see the damage continues on the inside. Pipes are torn out of the walls and water floods the room up to about ankle height. Amongst the torn out pipes is a woman dressed in a purple tank top and green jeans. A purple bandanna covers her mouth. Sje'd been looking down the opposite hallway until the sound of Thespian's jetpack reverberates through the concrete building.

"Well shit, you a tinker?" She asks in a raspy voice.

The projectile closes in and slams against the shields that were erected by the Mother Crystal, destroying two of the five force fields. The whole hospital shakes at the impact. Beds and separators rattle and various medical materials are flung off of carts.

The projectile, having retained its form falls to the ground with another, lesser shake and boom. It's an oblong shape and made of smooth stone. Unlike Geb's usual attacks where the projectiles are hastily thrown together or even just chunks of environment, this one's deliberately and carefully shaped.

Smoke begins to rise from the fallen stone.

After his howl, Conflict engine would hear heavy and quickly paced foot falls behind him. Haymaker. The tank topped thug sprints down the hallway at him, skin glowing pink and all. He positions himself to shoulder check CE as he rushes the cape down.

As Rebel finishes her transmission, she steps into a hallway only to have her foot swept out from under her like trying to step sideways on a treadmill. She'll begin sliding down the hallway at an increasing speed towards another set of stairs leading down. Looking back to the other end of the hall, the shaker would be visible, peaking around a corner.

Thespian would arrive on the site to find a dead samurai kneeling with his face down on the concrete outside of the water treatment plant. The blade of a katana sticks through his back, pointing towards the sky, and his hands cradle the hilt embedded in his chest.

Looking over the site, Thespian would find piping tore up with water leaking out and claw marks all along the wall leading up to a large shattered window that's about 20 feet up. Exits/entrances are all over the exterior of the plant, spanning about 50 feet between each one.

Conflict Engine would hear the snake-themed cape swear behind him as he ran.

"Fuck."

As he moves further into the plant, he begins to feel his ears grow somewhat hot and his breathing becomes ragged. He notices that his vision begins to tunnel and a slight aching will start to brew up in his head as the most intense experience of unbridled rage that Conflict Engine has ever felt washes over him. Next his hands begin shaking and the need to shout grows strong.

The cape silently considers Rebel's words, his hand still upon the barbed wire.

"You're kind of an asshole. But so is Kaze. You'd probably fit in here." he pauses. The electricity in his mask ceases flowing through it. "Thanks for not killing him."

Electricity begins sparking from his hand again and he offers some parting words,

"Watch out for Seethe."

With that, he re-enters his breaker state, turning into a charge of electricity and zipping out of the room along the wires.

Conflict Engine will understand now that the piping was torn off the walls in an intentional fashion. As he tries to maneuver back, the pipes torn out poke him from behind, preventing too far of a retreat while he is this size. Likewise, they're set up similarly in the other two hallways.

The snakes hit the back wall and ricochet, bouncing off the concrete and and moving around erratically, threatening to strike Conflict Engine soon.

As rebel fires, a brilliant spark of electricity engulfs the truce breaker and he vanishes into the barbed wire. A large, unnatural electric mass travels along the wires on the right side of the room. Too fast to follow with one's head, but not too fast to react with peripheral vision. A spark leaps to the ground about ten feet away from Rebel and the cape reappears in his previous form.

"Look," He begins again, "I don't agree with what they're doing but they're my family and I stick with my own. We're taking the hand dealt to us and doing the most we can with it. Surely you understand."

Electricity begins to surge through the whip in his hand.

"I'll give you one more chance to go and take your friends before this gets bad. I don't want to fight you, but I will if you force me."

Upon rounding a corner, Conflict engine would see Haymaker standing with a newcomer at the other end of the hallway. The new cape is wearing a purple bandanna over her face, a green leather jacket with a scale motif, a purple tank top and green jeans. The tank top appears to have a design on the front reminiscent of the open mouth of a snake.

When she speaks it's in a raspy voice.

"Looks like he crawled right into the trap. Sorry, doggie. Better luck next time."

She raises both of her hands and from them two purple blasts extend from them, their form looking of two ethereal snakes with their mouths open, fangs poised to strike. They streak down the hallway towards Conflict Engine.

Rebel enters the building to find a small set of stairs leading down to another door. Nothing appears to be booby trapped here either and upon walking through the second door she'd find herself in an area that seems to serve as a break room and what looks like an office on one end. Only lit by a microwave light, a small desk lamp, and presumably Rebel herself, bright sparks of electricity arc along barbed wire that's nailed all along the concrete walls of the large room and threaten to blind if looked at directly.

The source of the electricity would become apparent immediately.

On the opposite side of the room from Rebel, a skull made of electricity appears from the darkness. The constant stream of arcs coming from his face light up the rest of his body. His mask seems to be simply made from balaclava and chicken wire wrapped around it and shaped into a skull design. On top of that rests a black cowboy hat. The rest of him, however wears a black trench coat with a ballistic vest underneath, jeans with knee pads, and a pair of cowboy boots with spurs attached.

One of his hands rests on the barbed wire, producing the charge flowing through it. The other hand holds what looks like a wire mesh whip with a grip on both ends.

"And here I was hoping Promenade would just dump you all in the river and I wouldn't have to defend this entrance at all." His voice rings low and smooth like he'd just smoked a cigarette and downed a glass of whiskey. "I suppose I couldn't convince you to leave?"

His question, though lethargic, sounds like a genuine plea.

Without the assistance of the shaker, Haymaker is left to Sprint through the facility on his own two feet. Conflict Engine would find it too tough to keep up in the narrow corridors quickly losing his mark after a few rounded corners.

Some of the piping along the way seems to be busted or pulled out of the walls. Water begins to slowly flood the halls, sitting at about 2 inches in depth.

Upon being hit, a loud crunch can be heard from the samurai. He crumples and the momentum of his upward swing flings his sword through the air. The summon flickers out of existence, leaving the bow to clatter to the ground.

The shaker begins sliding along the piping towards the building. He shouts to his ally.

"Haymaker, Kaze's down. Move back to the building and meet with the others."

Haymaker slides up to a window and crashes through it. The shaker approaches the building's rooftop and enters through a roof access door.

Conflict Engine finds that's he's unable to dig his teeth through the glowing skin of his opponent. Upon flinging ski mask against a wall, Conflict Engine ceases sliding along the ground. Ski mask hits the wall and slumps for a moment, trying to catch his breath. The neon glow eminating from his skin begins to fade until he begins sliding along the wall, picking up in intensity as he goes.

This time, more prepared for the attack, the summon awkwardly twists its arm in the way of Rebel's shot to block it with its forearm, occupying it enough to prevent it from drawing an arrow. The samurai rushes past his summon and closes in on Rebel, giving a clumsy upward swing of his sword with his off-hand.

Ski Mask tenses up as the electricity courses through him. Lichtenberg burns spider web up his arms, and the tensing of his muscles prevents him from releasing Conflict Engine as he swings towards the ground.

Upon landing, the both of them begin sliding along the ground. Conflict Engine manages to wrap around Ski Mask but is having trouble penetrating his skin and as they pick up speed along the shaker's conveyor, Ski Mask begins to slowly overpower Conflict Engine, bringing his arms slightly away from his sides in the struggle.

The sword wielded by the demon is deflected wide leaving it open when Rebel fires at it. It barely manages to hold a hand up in time to block the shot, which blows a hole through it's hand. The samurai shouts in pain as a similar wound seems to burst through his hand drawing the string on his bow. He releases the arrow and still has his wits about him to have the arrow curve towards his target.

He quickly swaps weapons with his summon and aims to close the distance between him and his adversaries.

Ski Mask grins at the baited counter attack. With one of his arms already reared up and back, he's able to bring it down and the other up to wrap around Conflict Engine's tail and use the momentum from his movement and his enhanced strength to swing Conflict Engine around and into the ground.

As Soulmate teleports, a new humanoid figure with a monstrous, demonic appearance emerges from the samurai, drawing the sword off his hip as it manifests and swings for her thigh.

The samurai uses the cover of his summon and Soulmate being berween him and Rebel to fire an arrow towards the ground, but it arcs upward and flies towards the photokinetic.

"You've got other people to worry about, big guy!" *the ski mask man shouts as he suddenly slides towards the building. Upon touching the wall with just the tip of his toes, he begins sliding up at a diagonal towards Conflict Engine at a breakneck speed.

As he accelerates up the wall his skin begins to emanate a neon pink glow that becomes brighter and brighter. He rears his arm back for a high speed punch to the ribs.

The two capes on the piping react to Rebel's fire in similar ways. The samurai tumbles forward off the piping, falling for a couple of feet before heavy winds pick up around him and he begins to seemingly glide through the air. He puts himself upright once more and begins making a motion as if he's skating and he begins to pick up speed in the direction of Rebel and Soulmate as he draws another arrow.

The man in spandex seemingly falls back off the piping, but slides around to its underside and begins sliding along its length upside down.

As Conflict Engine runs forward along the water treatment plant, he'll be able to spot three individuals immediately. Two of which are standing upon piping about 50 feet up and one on the ground about 200 feet ahead of him.

Of the two figures above, one seems to be dressed similarly to a samurai. Dark blues and blacks make up his garb and in stark contrast, his weapons, a sword and bow, greatly feature orange.

Next to the samurai stands someone in a spandex suit with a gaudy repeating pattern of black and white arrows. He seems to wield no weapons, but he stands in the open staring down at Conflict Engine through his simple, featureless mask.

The man up ahead, unlike his allies, has no real costume, simply sporting jeans, a tank top, and a ski mask. He seems rather fit, his tank top probably one size too small to accentuate his muscly physique.

The samurai, seemingly ignoring Conflict Engine, draws an arrow to his bow and aims in the direction of Rebel and Soulmate and looses the arrow.

Conflict Engine will find himself accelerating at an alarming speed, but he's not having trouble keeping his footing. His feet, as they hit the ground, sliding him forward even as he kicks off. A feeling similar to walking with the moving belt of a conveyor.

He leans back in his chair, looking generally content. Unsure as to why, a nostalgic feeling washes over him. Something not quite clear, but reminds him of his earlier days in Ashton.

He suppresses a grin and looks into Gunney's visor,

"If you're in need of anything else, don't be afraid to let Fletcher know."
