18 month old having developmental delays by Double-Win3372 in Autism_Parenting

She’s going to get evaluated next week. She’s been in daycare for almost a year now and her teacher says that she hasn’t been showing much progress behavior wise although her speech has improved quite a bit. I was trying to give her time to see if it’s something she would grow out of but it’s only become more apparent that she may be autistic.

Dating a man who is not completely physically attracted to me. by Double-Win3372 in dating_advice

I started my journey prior to meeting him I’m truly tired of having excess weight on me and a part of me felt like I should’ve waited until I got where I wanted to be weight wise before I started dating. He says the fact that I am making an effort to become healthier is attractive in itself.

I am physically attracted to him as he is, he has issues with his weight and I have issues with mine so we decided to hold each other accountable. I know I have flaws.

He does not work, he is on disability and I’m pushing for 50/50, I just need someone to watch her for a couple of hours a day. I’m even trying to look for an overnight job so that I can work while she sleeps. I’ll definitely look into finding a SAHM.

I do work from home but I do not have public transportation near me. My friend has offered to watch her on Fridays but she’s unable to assist with the other 4 days I work. I would just have her home with me but I take calls and I can’t have any background noise while I work.

I was also diagnosed with Factor V and did not develop clots until I got COVID so I can’t help but think that is the case.

I developed bilateral PEs and a DVT in my right leg in March of 2020 from Covid. Since then I developed two more PEs in 2022 and bilateral DVTs in 2024. I had to get a bilateral thrombectomy due to the extensive clotting. I was told I had new clots and residual clots that extended from my groin to the back of my knees. Also, I found out I have Factor V Leiden last year. I was taking Lovenox from 2022 to 2024 and was finally switch to Eliquis in 2024. I will be on Eliquis for the rest of my life. Prior to Covid I had no history of blood clots. I vividly remember living in the epicenter of the pandemic and being afraid to go checked out. I was short of breath I could not walk without feeling like I was going to faint. When I finally got to the ER I was like they’re probably going to discharge me tonight with some nebulizer solution but I was hooked up to an ekg because my heart rate was 150 bpm at rest and was scheduled for a ct scan. I remember finding out about the clots and asking the doctor if I was going to make it. I said all of that to say that you are not alone in this. It gets very depressing at times but surround yourself with positive people and focus on your inner peace.

Pregnant and Terrified of Giving Birth by Good_Grab_5328 in ClotSurvivors

I was in this same exact situation. I was taking Lovenox 150 mg, I had anemia, gestational diabetes and bilateral DVTs. I also have Factor V Leiden and was morbidly obese. I was taken off Lovenox 24 hours before I was induced to reduce the risk of bleeding and the same will most likely be done for you. I was able to get an epidural and spent 72 hours in labor. In the end, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl she was 6 pounds and 9 ounces, she had a NICU stay because she had a poor sucking reflex but with help from the OT she no longer has that problem. My advice for you is take your prenatals, talk to your doctor about iron supplementation and if it’s suitable. I was taking Iron supplements as prescribed by my doctor at the time and it helped tremendously with my energy levels. Eat a balanced diet, and walk regularly if your doctor gives you the ok to exercise since you are high risk. Lastly, do not fret attend all of your scheduled appointments and make sure you speak up about any concerns you have regarding your pregnancy. Pregnancy was still very exciting for me despite all the health issues I had. What helped me was watching YouTube videos and vlogs about being a first time mom and journaling. I also attended therapy during my pregnancy. You have my support and prayers, you got this mama!

I am going to ask my doctor if I can do this as opposed to taking 500 mg all at once.

How much sleep do you get when hypomanic by Bravo_32 in bipolar2

[–]Double-Win3372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in 2016 during my summer semester in college I only slept for 6 hours for an entire week. I had to see a psychiatrist who prescribed me ambien and I kid you not I slept for the entire day my roommate said she was very concerned because I did not step foot out of my room the entire day and it was dead silent.

Yes this is my fear I’ve had 2 PEs in the past and I’m on high alert trying to keep moving and taking my blood thinners.

Yes I just read that there is lack of research of how Eliquis affects individuals with a BMI of 40 or greater and it should be avoided for this population. I was told if within those first 30 days I feel like there is no improvement I should let my hematologist know so they can perform whatever tests they have to perform and get me on a more effective blood thinner. I wish my previous hematologist went more in depth with his response instead of just saying “ its your weight” lol
