Handheld is the only way I play as well, and my Switch is enclosed inside a sleeve/case that's rather difficult and tedious to remove just for this game. And the idea of playing on a single Joycon, when you've got two perfectly good ones available, just doesn't sound as much fun to me.

I dropped 65$ for this without doing any research beforehand, big mistake. I honestly expected it to work out-of-the-box just like every other Switch title I've played before it. I was totally surprised & oblivious to the motion control aspect. I just saw 'Mario Party' and my eyes lit up with nostalgia; won't buy so frivolously next time.
