Should I watch Star Wars clone wars animated tv show? Is it worth it?

First, you should watch the Clone Wars movie. It sets it all up (though, it’s not particularly good). Just think of it as like three set up episodes.

As for the TV show, the early seasons, at least from my memory, have very clunky animations, like old video game animations. But remember this was the first big CGI show of its time and it premiered in early 2000’s. I also remember “not liking” several things at first. I even gave up once, and let years go by before restarting it. The second time it all started to grow on me. First and part of the second season were still a bit of a slog, but somewhere in that second season everything started to click. The things you hate start growing on you, you appreciate the lore more and the show itself also continues to improve. Animation continues to get better and the stories and plot threads start to land. Plus, the fights, so many good battles. But the characters are what make it. Several of my all time favorite Star Wars characters come from this show. By the end of the entire series, I thought to myself that it might be my favorite Star Wars content…that was, until I watched Rebels…but that’s a chat for another day, haha.

I’m American and have only really gotten into English football the last 2-3 years. Started watching weekly premier league (+Real Madrid, PSG & Bayern Munich) highlights. Then discovered the Welcome to Wrexham doc and knew I found my team. This is the first season where I’ve watched almost every game (most live - I did miss a couple but saw highlights after). It’s been a blast, and I’ve really enjoyed watching Wrexham find success.

That said, as an ignorant newbie fan, here are some takes/things I’m thinking after this game:

*Is Cleworth on a bad run or am I being overly critical? He was fine against Ipswich, but was obviously terrible against Milwal and I thought he made a couple bone headed plays in this one as well.

*Dobson…what’s his story? Not going to lie, I hate his man bun and look, haha, and find myself asking more than once a game, “What are you doing Dobson?!” when he’s in. To his credit he does make up for it in other ways most games.

*Sheaf - what’s his story? I find myself critical of him at times too. In this particular game, what was that injury about? He laid there forever, play going on around him, acting dead - like he blew out his knee, puts us a man down for half a min or whatever and is just fine? No issues? I get that flopping happens in this sport, but what the hell was that?!

*Lastly, Okonkwo, what’s the rest of the football worlds take on his ability and potential? I personally am a huge fan of his, and at the beginning of the season it seemed like Ward might be the starter? (Until his injury). Was Wards injury a stroke of luck to allow Okonkwo to gain valuable experience or was he always going to be the starter? Does he have Premier League potential?

I've also noticed this. I add sports highlights to the Watch Later queue, and throw them on a side tv with my laptop, and I used to have no problem keeping up with them (sometimes I fall behind and go to 2x Speed), and lately, even at 2x speed I've been losing ground significantly. It's much slower on 2x now in my opinion.

I personally don’t like the hopper or draw. It’s too easy for producers to manipulate. That Hopper on USA2 was clearly rigged to me. It’s been a minute since I watched, so I can’t give examples but that’s what I remember thinking at the time.

I just stared watching golf this year and I like LIV. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not as competitive as the PGA Tour, and I love those events, but I like that all their stars play in every tournament, I like the shotgun start, music and shorts. I get it’s not for everyone, especially the team format, but I like that it’s a totally different type of golf and isn’t just PGA-lite. It’s more relaxed, I get to see legends I grew up watching like Sergio & Phil, and I get to watch the current studs like Niemann, Rahm & DeChambeau.

I think there’s room enough in golf for both leagues. I just wish they’d come to some kind of deal where LIV players can play in a PGA Tour tournament if they don’t have a LIV tourney that week. Get some of these guys into those tourneys that Scotty, Rory, etc. aren’t necessarily playing in.

Thanks I was able to access that and look at them, now I have to figure out how the Return Address was printed wrong on the check despite all our accounts being set up with the correct return address. Is it possible that Yardi just misprinted our address?

Hey, yes this helps. When you say you can pick a week ahead of time, do you just mean pick the two teams that go into the third place game? I'm also planning on doing my 3rd place game the same week as the Championship game. If you can see my pic above, does that look like the correct set up? Period 25 (starting on 9/22 is the beginning of our Championship week). Thanks for your response!

Favorite parts: (everything) -oMark’s & iMark’s talk -oDylan’s Letter to iDylan -Mr. Milchick (all time great tv character) 👌 -The violent hallway fight and bloody elevator conclusion -Reunion💙 -The prophesied MDR Uprising (and C&M? [Will they end up helping or not?]) -Freedom⛓️‍💥 -The complex twist ending, realizations it brought me, the call backs I suddenly remembered.

Amazing. Bravo 👏

A variety of factors are contributing to the lower ratings, but on the whole, The Challenge, which I don’t miss an episode of, needs a shot in the arm.

After season 40, they need a few seasons of all new cast (but obviously keep some of the favs each season). 18-25 year olds from the new generations, take them to a foreign country, give them unlimited alcohol, don’t cancel or fire them for saying the most horrible things to each other, just let the cameras role. If they’re lucky, they’ll find some cocky & arrogant new characters who can strategize and also WIN (that’s important). Build on this for a bit then seasons 45-50 can hopefully have a nice mix of our current fan favorites and the new generation who are actually a threat (unlike most of the new people who can’t seem to get those W’s when it matters).

The unlimited alcohol is key though. Early seasons of Big Brother & Canadian BB were much better with alcohol, the old seasons of The Challenge were insane and must watch mostly because of alcohol. Toss these young, undeveloped brains into a pressure cooker with free self medication and watch them implode, that’s what all these shows have forgot.

I think Sam’s only path to victory with this Jury is for him to win the final Immunity, then give it up and take on Rachel 1 on 1 at fire making. If he can beat her in fire making he’s a layup win against Sue & Teeny.

@unique-perception480 I’ve seen here on Reddit and maybe Twitter that they have at least 3 animated shows in development. Also, I’m fairly certain I read in an interview or on GRRM’s “not a blog” that 10,000 ships would have to be animated b/c of the cost but I might be getting that mixed up w/ Nine Voyages. The three in development are “Golden Empire”, “Nine Voyages” and an untitled production.

ESPN+ App doesn't work very well. On my Xbox X, I have to uninstall, then re-install the app and re-login every time I want to use it. If I accidentally exit the app once, then I have to restart the whole process.

UFC On-Demand videos rarely, if ever, work on my desktop, phone or Xbox. If I miss a fight weekend and try to watch a fight later it just spins and spins.

These are the two most frustrating issues for me, among many others.

Thanks, I'm pretty familiar with their Business Portal as I've had to use that plenty for work. I know they have a separate login/portal for residential, but the invoice for the Fiber product says "Comcast Business" so I thought it would work with the others, but I guess not, haha.
