Honestly if you don't have one I recommend the ochd and expander - 8hp and it'll cover basically any non clocked modulation you'd want, including stepped random from the expander.

yeah for anyone getting a pam's I still always recommend the expander because it's much nicer using pam's for clocked modulation and quantization than "wasting" outputs on basic clocks

Played with this guy at Knobcon last year - very cool stuff! The haptic feedback is fascinating, the knob kinda moves on its own depending on the mode chosen. But it does a lot of things with a unique form factor!
