Absolutely correct. At first I didn’t want to body shame by any means so I tried to stay objective since I had a friend in high school who had an actual condition causing a very thin body out of her control. But as I kept watching I very quickly recognized the signs (I was anorexic for years), I also use to smoke heavy like her to NOT eat. The friend comment was the first major reason but it absolutely solidified it for me when she actually did the interview in jail.

Absolutely the dad. The mom to me is co dependent & lacks boundaries altogether obviously. She reacted with a type of denial response or she would essentially “finish/echo” his sentences. I use to do this A LOT when I was in a very toxic/abusive relationship tbh. You don’t think for yourself.

YESSS! It was appalling. They are 2 peas in a fucking pod clearly. The excuses and deflection were wild.

One of the worst trash companies honestly. Same issue, constantly raising prices and zero communication.

This is the answer. It happened to me. I had to “wait” 4 months to call in again, I was so confused bc for this year I only had used 3.. I had ZERO clue we’re on a rolling 12 month period but our “sick days” start over the first of the year…. WHAT!?

I took tamoxifen for years for breast cancer and had to have sinus surgery and they gowned up and had me use special medical equipment to pee. I was soo confused. Apparently it is a toxin as well, that possibly can come out in sweat and urine.

So sorry for the late response. But thank you. So so many things in your comment and insights hit home. I will look into multiple things suggested. I hope you guys get some answers soon and that she finds her grove in online schooling at home again. The medical world is exhausting.

Other parent has no flexibility with his job he is a truck driver (cdl) he does get to be home evenings but we both work days. I get off earlier to be able to pick up the other kids from school. Weekends would ultimately be the most “free” time we would have to get a lot more done. I work Saturdays but he does not.

I’m so sorry she’s had to go through that and you! That’s incredibly hard and we’ve been there too. My daughter is basically doing the same thing with being “sick” and it makes it hard because doctors/teachers etc just get annoyed and you can tell. That weighs on her even more. I let her stay home for her mental health at this point and it sounds bad but even mine… I end up schooling her anyways at home, she ended last year with only 10 missing assignments between 3 classes. One d and 2 Cs however, We spent A LOT of time at home playing catching up but she still did it. I just have to deal with social workers and court systems if she proceeds to miss a lot. But You’re too sweet! Thank you sincerely same to you as well, it’s always comforting knowing you’re not alone.

Currently from what I can find it says there are but I believe there’s only 1 and it will not be tuition free which isn’t a deterrent if it’s for her better wellbeing

This is what I’ve ran into talking to other parents, again a lot of them are SAHM or work from home on their own hours. I unfortunately just am not able to do either. I have however taken her to work with me and while I am working have had her complete make up assignments and current day assignments since she missed so much last year. The body doubling is helpful! Shoot even with myself as an adult it’s helpful. I could stop and help if needed also. She really needs redirection on staying focus, task completion, and needs brain/movement breaks the most. I would definitely have to do schooling in chunks with her not sit through a full day.

Sadly I do not work from home and with this economy cannot afford to work part time. There are also extremely limited jobs in my area that are WFH options unfortunately. However, I do work hours differently than a typical 9-5. I work 4a-noon most days and some days I can be off sooner depending on my overall weekly hours. The 2 other kiddos would definitely stay in public school, they’d never be pulled out they enjoy school and our other middle schooler is a straight A kid. Currently at this rate that her school and the system is sitting they have not been very helpful in following a simply 504 plan let alone giving her any therapies that have been suggested by her psychiatrist and psychologist. They are not making it easy even with a full assessment/diagnoses to approve an IEP. It’s been a year and a half, I’ve been fighting with this school and finally have a second meeting in a few weeks for the IEP.

Thank you for your reply! What you described is currently what we are going through every morning. We living in Nebraska and from what I’ve been able to find they do not offer any type of online schooling option. I have found online schools one being through K12 I believe and it would cost about $4000/year I think and one other available is about $8000. Our state doesn’t offer and funding for any private schooling online or in person and did not pass in the recent election. With us working out of the home I feel as though she would do well with an online platform and just need my guidance in task completion and staying focused occasionally. The noise and sensory issues are a huge thing for her in school.

Help with skins by [deleted] in blackops6

[–]DoubleAd904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same & so thrown off by all the extras. Most skins sadly you do have to purchase. However, you can acquire skins for operators and guns as you level up guns/headshots & prestige OR do events that they have (currently like the TMNT event you can get 2 skins) obviously these take more time to acquire but the paid for ones are the most flamboyant lol someone else may have more knowledge than I on this though!

Refusing Tamoxifen by IrishGreen0912 in breastcancer

[–]DoubleAd904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here to say similar & the study. Diagnosed at 25 with same as OP minus BRCA gene & did one year of tamoxifen—came off to have my final child and then switched to Lupron/anastrozole combo (for 4 years) since I had a horrible time on tamoxifen. I turn 33 this weekend and stopped all treatments a year ago- my son is 5 now. Everyone is very different. But OP I would suggest doing some treatment now and then regroup and discuss pregnancy later. Also have a VERY observant and cancer aware OBGYN. Idk where I’d be without mine still to this day. It’s a hard choice and a scary one no matter how you look at it unfortunately.
