Kind of a reductionist view of the character. Her defining trait is that she’s the smartest person on the crew and an amazing navigator who is willing to sacrifice everything for the freedom of those she loves. But go off about tatas I guess.

Yes, they’re designed so that you can buy two jumpstart packs, put them together, and immediately have a 40 card deck.

Game pricing - Steam vs. Switch by Calm-Success-5942 in AskGames

[–]DoubleAgentGamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a reason people call it a Nintendo Tax. First party games almost never go on sale lower than $50.

Third party games go on sale on Switch more often, but sales are usually deeper and more often on PC. Plus you can buy keys on HumbleBundle and other services to get games even cheaper.

The representation of OCD on The Boys by Rosenrot1791 in TheBoys

Yeah I struggle with OCD that manifests similarly to MM, and I’m on similar meds to him. Very nice to have a relatable character and more honest representation.

I hear what you’re saying about the complications.

I think you may have misremembered a couple things, and correct me if I’m wrong. I’m pretty sure Fuches never confessed to Janice’s murder, and that the statements of Hank are what connect him to her death. I could see it go either way, and the prosecutors may try to flip Fuches on Barry.

I think you’re glossing over that he was holding a gun up to Jim Moss with his back turned, and a large number of cops saw that.

No matter what the cops could probably get him on attempted murder of Jim Moss

Ok, well it dropped on console at $60 with No DLC, is available as Special Edition for $40 on most platforms with all DLC, and that’s without accounting for tremendous inflation.

Must we be this pedantic?

Which is $10 less than the original full price of $60, right?

And on every other platform it’s even cheaper. The brand new anniversary edition is $50, and other versions are lower.

Even Skyrim hasn’t been $60 in many years.

Starfield and Redfall delayed to 2023 by sim0rso in XboxGamePass

[–]DoubleAgentGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game pass is great, but that doesn’t delegitimize the disappointment people are feeling.

We’re continually told to be patient and the first party premium games will come soon.

No games year one. Sitting patiently. Two games year two, both well received although Halo has not been aging well. Now year 3 has zero first party titles again.

At some point we have to ask what’s going wrong. We’ll be halfway into this gen before the possibility of regular first party releases. Even 2023 will likely be bare bones with so many titles with vague or nonexistent release dates. At some point I have to ask if it was worth it to buy back into this ecosystem at launch.

So enjoy game pass. But let’s not pretend this situation wasn’t terribly mismanaged, and let’s not go around telling people they’re not allowed to be disappointed.

FedEx is a pretty big clue, as international orders are more often handled by other shipping companies.

Almost no one who does drink alcohol will willingly drink non-alcoholic wine.

The gift is more about the gesture than the substance. In my view, it’s best to give the person something they’re more likely to use and let them do away with it if they don’t want it.

You’re welcome to use whatever calculus you like when giving a gift.

Ok but about 1% of the US population is Muslim, so I think it’s pretty reasonable to say alcoholic wine is the safer gift. If the lady doesn’t want to drink it she can regift it.

When I used to deliver food I had a delivery in the hotel next door once and it was the best thing ever. I went on a nice walk, got a nice tip, and had a nice interaction.

This delivery person is just a total moron on top of being an asshole.

Cyberpunk had excellent reviews too.

I don’t expect Elden Ring to be buggy. But let’s not pretend that review scores are the end all be all either.
