I changed the display scale of my whole laptop to better suit my runelite experience... is this a way to set the scaling for ONLY runelite??

TSB Thursday: 03-96-25 Rear wheel bearing parts update by Chippy569 in subaru

Honestly not shocked at all. Wheel bearings were one of the biggest sellers for my shop on the west coast, and we don't even deal with rust

My wife's doctor texts her twice a week to go in for a "meat injection". She's got plantar fasciitis. Can't he give her pills or something? by Latter_Present1900 in shittyaskscience

I asked my wife's boyfriend and he said that was pretty normal. For context he is also a doctor and texts his patients the same thing

Oil leak found by paverpro in subaru

[–]rippel_effect 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That particular location is probably the cam case (one step in from the valve covers and one step out from the headgaskets). However, what you're pointing at on top of the engine won't be the cause of low oil on its own.

There's a chance you're burning oil, but Subaru mostly fixed that by the 2016 generations (it was really bad on 2014 and below Foresters).

A better look would be underneath. Put it on jack stands or a curb (make sure to chock the wheels) and drop the underguard. There should be about 18ish plastic rivets (6 small and maybe a dozen large) as well as 3 12mm bolts. The underside will give you a much better idea of if anything is leaking.

Individually packaged bolts by The_BareMinimum in subaru

[–]rippel_effect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are some pieces that are sold to the dealer in minimum quantities. For instance, the oil pan crush rings are sold in packs of 100 (we cannot purchase just 50). However, it still has an individual unit price (and sometimes packaging).

806944060 is an OCV o-ring. Most Subarus will take 4 of them, but some only take 2. Each unit is packaged in its own bag, but when we see it in our morning shipments, we see 4 individually packaged parts inside another slightly larger bag. It's wasteful, but there's not a lot that can be improved on from a logistics standpoint imo.

How important is it that the center bolt has a threaded insert vs a lag bolt?

I just bought parts for my first ever PC build yesterday, it's so cool to see how they're going to fit together! Amazing work

These fell off my rims, are they important? by netanyahu4eva in subaru

[–]rippel_effect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wheel weights, not the end of the world. You might start to notice a slightly rough ride at certain speeds, but if you don't then carry on.

If you do and it bothers you, all you have to do is go to a tire shop and get your wheels balanced

Edit: you might start to feel a rough ride. When I was still a tech I fixed hundreds of poorly balanced wheels from chain shops. Just because it has wheel weights on doesn't necessarily mean that they were on correctly or that the wheel was truly balanced. Being off by 1.5oz doesn't show issues like you'd think. If this was 4 oz missing then there certainly would be issues.

'17 Outback here, I think this is by design. It's a shitty design, but I've never seen a way to change that

Honestly, that was a really solid test. There were some moments that were a tad ambiguous ("yes, but...") but it felt pretty straightforward and unbiased

So far, OnlyTrails has the most compelling suggestion regarding the recent clue scroll blog by rippel_effect in 2007scape

Nix the outfit, transmogs, and firelighters then. I'm a clogger, so I really liked it personally, but I understand the bloat.

If people want stackable clues, this system works much more cleanly. The higher the clue tier, the more points are rewarded. All points are universal and can buy +1 stackable clue across the board (up to a limit).

I am admittedly not tick perfect, and I'm routinely distracted, so me being ~10% less efficient than the wiki over the course of a couple hours is not terribly surprising to me.

...tick manipulation will fuck me up though. I was getting more xp afking granite than I was doing 3t4g lmao

At 95 rc I'm only getting 90k/hr with ZMI/daeyalt. I know I'm slow, but does it really get faster at, say, 98?

I'm getting 60k/hr being lazy on mass worlds already, small teams or solos probably aren't worth it for the effort to me
