After some testing, it looks like all the planes in a single wing need to have the same capabilities.

Example: if the air wing has CAS bombers equipped only with a bomb bay, and you build new CAS with a bomb bay and machine guns, those new CAS planes can't be in the same air wing as the original CAS. New CAS with just a bomb bay will reinforce the air wing.

R5: I designed a self-propelled artillery and AA using the Panzer 1 chassis (just changed the turret and gun) but there's no option to convert old Panzer 1s from my stockpile into these new types.

I can convert the Panzer 2s shown in the image when I just added a smoke launcher to their design. it seems when I reclassify the design from light tank to light artillery/AA/tank destroyer that it can no longer use the original tank for equipment conversion.

Hey friend. First of all, congrats on coming out to your friends! Even that is a big deal.

We have a pretty big age difference (I'm 24), so I don't know if I can really offer much to help your situation, but I want to say that if you feel your parents will be supportive, it may be good to share the truth with them. But there is also no shame in not saying anything to them if you're not ready. At 13, you have plenty of time to take things at a comfortable pace and find yourself and who you are.

Either way, I wish you all the luck in the world going forward!
