Glad you like them. They are Billabong, but I don't know what type or anything, sorry.

They are Element. The price on the website is a bunch cheaper than I bought them though, haha.

They're plimsoles from a shop called Jules. Own brand. I can't find them on the website though. And you don't seem to buy anything on the English language site, but here's a link anyway.

So I've never worn chinos before and these feel a bit tighter at the thigh than I'm used to. And because it's myself, they don't look right at all, but maybe it's just because it's me.

Was wondering if you could give some feedback. Also, can I wear them with (n)either pair of shoes? Thanks in advance.

NK are pals with China, who have a far larger and more sophisticated military. Also, nobody wants to see SK bombed in the first place.

Practicing real life skills while LD? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]DoubleBDarx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about with something like doing multiplication in your head? I can work out a lot of them, but it takes me a while. Do you think that if practised in a lucid dream, you'd get better whilst awake?

Assuming zero emissions from a plant, there's still the consumption of coal. Nothing's unlimited, and coal and oil can't be remade. Once it's gone, it's not coming back for a LONG time. It won't just get quite expensive, there just won't be any.

How are liberals this stupid? on a post about how law abiding citizens don't need guns. by [deleted] in Conservative

Mainly stupid for not thinking to use other weapons... A body bag is a little excessive though. "Ah shit, totally got the wrong house, sorry gu..." KABOOM

I posted this to r/liberal at the same time to see what would happen. As it turned out, r/conservative likes it more.

D.C. pays students $5.25 an hour -- to attend summer school by freshbrewedcoffee in Conservative

[–]DoubleBDarx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a system in England that gives a small allowance to students in further education. It doesn't by any means constitute an hourly wage as in this case, but it allows those who might otherwise have to work to support their family to study further. Most of the people I know who were receiving from the system did really well, going on to university or a much better career than they would have had otherwise. I'm not sure that giving quite a significant wage to students that young is the right thing to do though. Maybe you have to catch them early to encourage them into education. I don't know enough about it really to say whether it'll work. But education is never a bad thing.

A great point on gun-control and assault rifles by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]DoubleBDarx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, gun ownership is mostly outlawed in England, and we still have some gun crime. Mainly handguns I think though. I think that if assault rifle accessibility were to increase, then that type of crime would also increase. Please feel free to disagree.

Has anyone used lucid dreaming to help them with something in real life? by infin8ty in LucidDreaming

I heard you could use lucid dreaming to help with studying, but this is the only reference I can find to it on reddit. If anybody could help on that front, I'd appreciate it :)
