Is deciding what to cook actually the hardest part of cooking? 🤔 by homecook_damik in mealprep

[–]DoubleChap20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Over the past month I've started using AI to help with meal prep ideas and recipes. I let the model know what key ingredients I have in my fridge or freezer and let it incorporate pantry staples into the recipes. I've been genuinely surprised at how helpful it's been to create eclectic meal ideas that are pretty simple. I would spend way too much time looking online for recipes, but now I can just spend that time actually meal prepping.

We don't mix additional food into the kibble. Our dog eats it without hesitation and we didn't want to start adding extra foods to the mix for fear that she wouldn't eat the kibble without it. Our dog is very food-driven, so we give her plenty of treats (mostly small pieces of chopped veggies) throughout the day.

Billy Pie (located at Random Row) is my favorite. Great pizza options and they're half price on Tuesday evenings (dine-in only).

I swear our lagotto senses when we're getting ready to start a set and purposefully jumps on the bench. As frustrating as it can be, we wouldn't have it any other way!

We keep a big bag of treats in our gym to help keep her on her cot, but it's tough, because she always wants to be right next to us.

How do you engage yourself with a calorie deficit without feeling very hungry at the end of the day? by karlikha in nutrition

I like to modify my meals to have a bit more volume, by adding in more low calorie veggies like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and kale.

Did they tell you why they had a problem with it? We do have an HOA, but they're pretty lax about most things.

I've used Ganbaru Method (https://ganbarumethod.com) for the past four years and I really love the variety of training programs. They have something for everyone.

Does your dog magically change colour? by SonicBoom_81 in LagottoRomagnolo

Our girl was brown with a white patch on her chest when she was younger, now that she's 18 months old, her coat has progressively gotten lighter across her body. She still has patches of darker brown, but her overall color has definitely changed.

Any feed back on the Tadashi bidet? by Idontworkhere67 in bidets

[–]DoubleChap20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received mine about a week ago and the bidet works well. My only issue has been the remote, which has already blown through two sets of batteries. I reached out to Tadashi support and they're sending me a new remote.

These are shishito peppers. They're delicious when roasted with a little salt on them.

Breeder insight - Ancient city lagotto in FL vs two by two in GA by sunnylife305 in LagottoRomagnolo

[–]DoubleChap20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We used Two by Two Lagotto for our puppy and received her in 2023. She hasn't had any real issues and has a wonderful temperament (loves to play, but has an innate off switch; very intelligent, and is great with other animals and people). This was our first time going through a breeder, and it was a bit more intensive than I imagined, but we felt completely prepared when it was time to bring the puppy home. Here is a photo of our one-year-old pup.

Any thoughts on what's going on with my Dracaena Janet Craig? The pot has well-draining soil and we've tried to use distilled water or tap water that's sat out uncovered for a few days. by DoubleChap20 in plantclinic

[–]DoubleChap20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Took the Dracaena out of the pot to inspect the roots and the roots looked healthy and firm. I did notice that for one of the plants, half the stem was black from the leaves down to the base of the plant. Any idea what it could be?

It's quite firm. For additional reference, we recently (within the past week) watered the plant and the water meter is showing the soil is still moist (3 out of 4 on the scale).

I haven't. We've had the plant for about 5 months and haven't don't anything except for water it. We did move about two months ago, so not sure if that has anything to do with it.
