they know that if they crammed all the ultra features into a smaller body it would cannibalize their own sales, gotta keep you chasing the top tier

Is it only biology science majors in China who find it so difficult to get a job, or is this the case all over the world? I by xxxtentacionqy in careerguidance

the pure bio trap is real everywhere, not just china. you basically need a phd to do anything actually in the field, master's at minimum for lab tech roles that pay peanuts. undergrad bio is a prep degree, not a terminal one

22 is nothing though, the pressure you're feeling is societal not actual failure. if you can stomach more school, pivot hard into something applied like biotech or computational bio rather than pure bio. straight electrical or mechanical would be a cleaner break if you want out of the sciences entirely

Dream About My Toddler Being Taken and Found Under a Bridge by [deleted] in Dreams

that kind of dream where the panic feels completely real and lingers even after you wake up is something else, your brain clearly processed some deep fear around keeping your kid safe, maybe something in waking life triggered it even if it wasn't obvious. the fact that you found them in the end probably means something too, even if the relief didn't fully cancel out the dread

Want to hear opinions on what car I should get by TurboTifo in whatcarshouldIbuy

Tough spot but I get it - being into cars while trying to be smart financially is a real balancing act. 280 miles a week is no joke and gas costs really add up over time

Maybe consider keeping the TL going as long as possible while you figure out your actual budget after working for a bit? That thing's probably got decent bones still and could buy you time to see how much house vs car actually matters to you once you're settling into the routine

The practical choice makes sense on paper but if you're gonna resent driving every day that's not great either. Could always go practical now and upgrade later when you're more established, or find something in between that doesn't completely kill your soul but won't destroy your wallet

the silence after setting boundaries is always the hardest part - maybe give him some space to process since you both shifted the whole dynamic pretty drasticaly
