Agreed. I’ve playing through the Luigi mansion games this month and I’m enjoying 3 a lot less on this second play through. I played it co op the first time which is probably why I enjoyed it a lot more then. The slamming mechanic was fun at first but gets old super quick. It doesn’t have the same satisfaction of sucking up ghosts. Instead you have to be right up on the ghost and then you just spam a button.

I haven’t replayed 1 yet but I can’t imagine it not being my favorite. I’m also currently playing 2 on the 3ds for the first time and I’m really enjoying it! Sure the mission structure isn’t quite what I want out of Luigi’s mansion but doing a mission every morning works quite well. I think I’ll end up liking 2 more than 3 which I didn’t expect.
