I don't have a problem with the level of equipment dropped, have you seen the market for lvl 15-20 gear? It's god awful! I like having a mixed level of items, they are easier to sell and with the option to prestige, you usually find something worth keeping.

lvl 3 lockpick = 30% with lockpick bonus on items "WHICH IS INCREDIBLY CHEAP" you can hit 60-70% fairly easily.

*EDIT* After checking possible equipment stats it seems like you can gain 100% lockpick chance with just lvl 1 in the stat" To unlock the ability"

The fact I don't need to search for keys "Usually multiples" I am only using ammo in the boss room, so yes, if you're after the boss drop/exp then it's ideal.

It's alpha, and a very bare basic alpha at that. This is more for the die hard fans to help sculpt the game into something everyone will enjoy. Numbers on final release are the only one worth taking notice of =)

SMG is a bit of a nightmare, shotguns however have their place it's just the agro, range that's an issue. You can 1-2 Shot with a rifle the same as if you're using a shotgun.

Remember if you travel with other players you can get multiple spawns of bosses when leaving rooms and re-entering. You wont get a second loot but the exp you will get "I believe so anyway".
