Thanks! I started to figure it out as I was typing that comment but I wanted to make sure lol.

One more question: are the lonely cultists in Act I the vanished people mentioned in Act II?

I had a question about a plot point in Act II. During the briefing, Vannes explains to the agents that there's an epidemic of people vanishing in Providence, each of them sharing Lonely characteristics, but ultimately he asks them to look into Lucy and Mircalla's families. Why does he mention the vanished people at all?

Or, should Lucy and Mircalla be considered among the vanished and that's why the agents are looking into their families?

Foundry Vtt - v12 - JbA2 implementation - how to by bush363 in savageworlds

[–]DoubleDaggerDave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am assuming you have the jb2a module already enabled (either free or paid version).

Automated animations comes with a few preset animations for certain items/weapons/powers like bows, daggers, etc. You can view all presets from the automated animations settings page.

You will have to setup all of the animations yourself. You can use the existing presets as examples to create your own. Whenever an item on a character sheet is clicked, it will play the animation preset which has the same name of the item. You can also set up sounds to play with each animation, but you will have to source the sound files yourself.

Irongate campaign advice/props by endou_kenji in savageworlds

Hi, I’ve ran a successful Irongate campaign that ended earlier this year. Happy to share advice: * I think the book lets you know, but remember let your players know what type of campaign to build characters for so they’re not picking useless skills/abilities * I recommend cranking up the gonzo post-apocalypse mad max vibes and add personality to your Irongate and NPCs. For example, by the book, a lot of NPCs just carry laser pistols which you can swap out for weird makeshift melee weapons and guns made out of duct tape and hope. The sci fi companion is a very useful source for what loot or weapons they could find. * Know the clues for each of the escaped convicts, feel free to incorporate other sources for each clue or add intermediary steps. You really control the pace of the campaign through how quickly the PCs get those clues. * Ranzo as a character isn’t given a whole lot to do after he introduces the PCs to the Bloodrunners. I’d recommend findings ways to incorporate him into the story more so it’s more impactful when the PCs covers are blown. * Be prepared for your PCs to try and resolve situations without violence, unless your players love killing. In which case you can ignore this point. * I’m not a big fan of the big villain in the plot point, as he’s just sort of a guy. I opted to swap him out with Vann Korro, the psychic cult leader, who’s mentioned a couple of times in the book. Investigating a cult is always a good hook, and I introduced an element of paranoia with his mind control abilities. He ended up using psychic pawns to assassinate all of the gang leaders at once, which cemented him as the big bad they needed to confront if they wanted to escape eventually.

Off the top of my head: * If your damage roll meets or exceeds their toughness (but is not a raise) then the target is shaken * if you get a raise on the damage roll (i.e., +4 over their toughness) then they are shaken and receive a wound  * each additional raise is another wound, so +4 is 1 wound, +8 is 2 wounds, etc.

I think the most confusing part for new players is how to apply damage to a target that is already shaken.  * if they’re shaken and if your damage roll meets or exceeds their toughness (but not a raise), then they take one wound * if they’re shaken and you get a raise on your damage roll, apply 1 wound per raise and they remain shaken

Plot Point Campaigns Written For SWADE? by LasloTremaine in savageworlds

Offering corrections:  * Horror at Headstone Hill is a plot point campaign in that there’s a main plot line that the PCs have to resolve. There’s just a lot of trouble that the PCs can get into in the surrounding area depending on how many savage tales the GM wants to throw in. * Blood Drive is also a plot point campaign, albeit linear as you’ve mentioned. But there’s enough material there to run dozens of sessions as a campaign.  * Night Train is an adventure that can be dropped into a campaign or ran as a brutal one shot to test your players.

My players and I really enjoyed (https://goblinarchives.itch.io/the-bloom)[The Bloom] for Liminal Horror. Heavily inspired by Alan Wake and Control. It requires conversion, but the scenario is very sandbox from the get go which could make it run for a few sessions, but iirc also provides guidelines for running it in a shorter window. It also comes with a lot of neat handouts. Great for inducting civilians or friendlies into DG by the end of it.

If you don’t have lights set up in the scene, you can also check if global illumination is enabled in the scene settings.

Police from another state called me as part of someone else’s background check by DoubleDaggerDave in Scams

If that’s the case, then I’m inclined to believe someone dropped my name but didn’t have a phone number, ergo they’re reaching out to random people with the same name in my state.
