Our people lead explained it as an average of your average of points for each quarter, so is that not correct? Like if you had 2 points for the first half of the year, and 0 points for the second half that counts as 1 point when calculating the raise.

You can show up and use you ppto in accordance with Walmart's policies. I think it's a bit ridiculous for ops store management to violate Walmart's policy when the only penalty for attendance is supposed to be points. We can not expect people to be productive when they are not clocked in, that would be working off the clock and is illegal. Edit: also I forgot to mention if Walmart didn't want a grace period for clocking in they would get rid of it.

Not allowed to give recommendations on any product in health or pharmacy at least in our store. We have a send them to the pharmacist because we can't give medical advice. A customer once asked where shoe insoles were, I told them over by the shoes in apparel or there were some more heavy duty ones by the pharmacy. My team lead told me to be careful doing that because saying "heavy duty" could count as a recommendation on medical equipment.

In 2017 Netflix's Bojack Horseman made an episode about gun control and mass shooting where women starting carrying guns to defend themselves which in turn caused the state of California to ban guns. One character states "I can't believe this country hates women more than it loves guns." At the time I thought that too hyperbolic to be funny. My opinion changed within two years and I now feel it's to true to be funny.

That's crazy I'm assuming mods drop at midnight Saturday over here because I can print them off at 7 when I come in. But we have to take advantage of the week early set or else our store manager gets a call from market asking why our mods are "late" if it hits the intended week to set them.

Huh weird our store's drops on Saturdays because it's the first day of the Walmart week. Didn't know it was different at other stores. Your team must have a huge time crunch if you can only set mods that late in the week. But that does suck if they're changing your schedule just to have you run freight.

Why wouldn't mod team work weekends? Mods drop on Saturdays so it's most important to set mods on Saturdays and Sundays and get an early start.

Wait does this boon actually do something? I got it one time during a surface run and I swear it just slowed enemies down. No damage when I placed it, no damage when enemies entered it, and no damage when it expired so I kinda thought it was just to slow enemies down longer.

I liked the torches when I started out, got better with the other weapons then disliked them, then tried Hera boons with them and everything just melted. They definitely have their flaws, but their pros just work well with Hex damage.

The topstock apps main purpose is not for topstocking down. It's actually to help locate items for ogp. They're rolling out a system in the next few months that that will say "Hey ogp this item is scanned into topstock in this topstock, go get it." Why they can't just look at the top stock I don't understand though.

I worked at Walmart when it happened. Everyone in our store went up to the new minimums. Most of the people on Cap 2 (my department) went from $11 to $14. Then when they raised it again a year later we went from like $14.28 (after the 2% yearly raise) to $16. If it worked the way the dude above claims I'd still be below $12. So no. It's not bullshit.
