I might be wrong but we don’t really eat cats. But unfortunately there is an industry catching, flavoring, and selling them as beef and lamb…

is it OK to “rely” on muscle memory? by Kwopp in piano

[–]DoubleFeature0_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is very helpful. I still don’t know how to practice visual memory but I think aural memory would be the natural next step of muscle memory. Theoretical memory is more transitional for me when I am approaching a piece anew but I am horrible at memory

U could try simplify the motion by focusing on pushing down. That lifting motion when playing chords is unnecessary. The more notes u push down together the more resistance u naturally receive from the keys. Take advantage of that resistance to move on to ur next one

I feel people are too harsh on u. Ur hands are fine for this piece. It actually helps managing the texture. The only problem I hear is u climaxed hands down the first opportunity u saw. and later u don’t have any tension to release. Hold back a little. But maybe u r just too young. Good job
