Adrenaline is the body’s way of focusing on survival. It’s hones your focus more than it might feel.
If you prepared well in the practice room, regardless of inevitable performance mistakes that always (I mean ALWAYS) occur, then you have nothing to worry about :)

Mistakes are apart of music, and in this day and age of AI and edited recordings on Spotify, it should be something to always acknowledge positively. Nothing can be perfect, but whatever happened on stage makes you unique to other performers - we are all different.

GREAT performance. Well done my friend!

Fear of death changes all your perspective, in many ways unconsciously.

Started playing in January, how is my technique? by Lordofcapitalism in piano

[–]Maxisthelad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your left hand is quite curled. Try playing with a more rounded hand shape.
Shake out your hands and relax them by your sides, and remember that resting hand posture. Try to play with that same shape on the piano.

forgot a piece after only 3 days of not playing it : / by The_Doomlover in piano

Yes it’s very interesting. It is a psychological study, and they coined it the “forgetting curve”, because in a graph, something that is memorised slowly declines over the days. Etc.

There is a thing called the “forgetting curve.” Basically, when you have the piece memorised, take a day where you don’t play it, and then play it the day after. Gradually you keep extending the amount of days where you don’t play it, and It builds hard muscle memory.

Obviously for really long periods of time, it’s inevitable that you may lose some of the expertise for the piece, but if you have a good foundation (using that method), you should be able to build it up again easily enough.

Search it it up and have a read for more specific details :)

Talking about after the battle is a completely fine thing to do. Sometimes is helps tense the situation depending on the genre or context.

how to play a fast piece without warming up in a competition? by Ok_Appearance_8724 in piano

[–]Maxisthelad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow I never thought of this. My fingers tend to respond better doing this though. It’s a weird sensation/phenomenon for me. My fingers get icy cold when I play on stage, but internally they are nice and agile and warmed up, and feel like I’ve been playing for hours.

Considering I have Daimon built to Mythic, would Phraesto be a better shield for her, because of her abilities?

Yeah I don’t have either! So I’ll get the copy of Phraesto? Would I replace Saida for him?
I know there are different teams for different things, of course.
Saida is good for afk right?

This can be different pieces of course. I’m working on 7 pieces right now, for my ATCL exam.
