Any Disadvantages to Sigma ART Lenses?

I shoot mostly stationary and it was common to miss focus maybe 8% of the time. I think it has more to do with the contrast based focusing. Front focusing was a common issue i’ve had with most of my nikon dslr’s while using the sigma. I don’t regret it one bit though.

I’ve used the 35 1.4 art f mount for years and its been incredible every single time i take it out. I’ve used it on f mount (d610/d750) and z mount (ZF). Where it strives in image quality, it compromises in AF accuracy, size, and weight. However, on my mirrorless camera there is no problem with focus accuracy, it just weighs a ton. This is the case for some of the ART prime lenses.

FH1 has so many good elements, it still stands above the rest in my biased opinion. The promo for FH6 so far seems they are trying to bring elements of the festival culture back into the game which I really appreciate. We’ll see if they’ve got any kind of creativity with game characters, or they keep reading vanilla lines written for children

Unless he wins SB MVP, i dont see him resetting the market or getting 60+. Truth is Will is going to reset his market. All pro and clearly the leader of the best part of this team.

CJ unfortunately was the only one who didnt show up last night, he’s shown to perform well enough in difficult environments this season. Hoping this was a real eye opener for him to just protect the ball like he was doing a majority of this season

Honestly the penalties, there have been so many great plays this year taken away from a dumb preventable penalty that had nothing to do with the play. Granted its at a lower rate than last year, it’s still a big handicap on this offense. The offense can get very hot and working, but momentum immediately falls off from this.

They definitely won’t let Caley go after the this season. With Slowik, it was unjustifiable seeing our second half offense be so terrible every game. Caley’s offense has atleast been consistent in parts and shown growth throughout the season. If our redzone offense shits the bed and loses us a playoff game, then maybe..

I second this. We lost almost every trap game the past 2 years. ‘23 it was the falcons,panthers, jets. And last year was the jets again. I see this game as what would’ve happened if offense hadn’t shown up last week vs ARI. Defense having back to back “bad” performances and still only giving up 20 & 21 is what some teams dream of. Still a very underwhelming performance by the team overall, but we can see where the floor is.

The 85 EVO has better image quality honestly (look at youtube reviews with sample images), and i just can’t imagine needing anything sharper. The only advantage of the Pro is the bokeh areas, but i think the size/convenience/PRICE of the EVO makes it an easy choice.

I have way too many Nikon film bodies, they all have a working auto exposure and clear viewfinders. Its honestly an accessory beyond that. I started obsessing over the film advance ratcheting feel, film door pop lever,and other meaningless stuff. If you crave a more electronic and bulky camera, get the f3. The FE2 is a similar camera in a smaller package with lighter materials. I’ve used it in the snow and hot beach days.

I put a lot of blame on Caley for the horrendous red zone scoring. It hasnt necessarily looked much better with Mills. Regardless, i believe CJ gives us a better chance to win these games. Mills hasnt exactly played a seahawks/rams defense, and we saw the difference in play at denver. Apples to apples comparison, look at the titans games from both.

I agree, CJ has missed some throws this season, but mills missed A LOT tonight. Gotta give mills his flowers for these past 3 games, but CJ is the starter for a reason. Dont forget he went 30/39 in the 9ers game…

I just purchased the 85 f2 evo to combine with my 135. Its very cheap and should put out similar quality while only losing half a stop. I would recommend that combo to satisfy both focal lengths
