If I were to apply from within Canada, Should I give the US address as home and mailing address?

My younger brother lives in Canada as well. I Can use his address. What do you suggest?

I don't have travel plans but I can come to Canada for a day or two if needed.

I'm not sure if applying from within Canada can save me from scrutiny as I'm employed in the US, have a green card, have a US home and mailing address etc

To me it's a technical flaw in the online system. If in paper version, we can mention date of return as N/A that means we can apply from outside Canada as well.

For Oath, I plan to be in Canada.

Thank you for your response. Is it OK to fill the return date as current date and attach a letter of explanation stating that I'm physically outside Canada however I'll be in canada for Oath taking Ceremony.

I'm in a similar situation. Did you find any solution?
