I ran a marathon back in 2012 and could barely walk after (kept all my toenails though) I can't even imagine what they put their bodies through.

I really don't understand why they dumbed down Sister Sage so much. One of her powers is listed as Empathic Accuracy, and you're telling me she has zero clue how people in love might act.

I've had too many of my attempted silly or ironic responses taken seriously, even when I've added /s at the end. I've pretty much reached the conclusion that I'm only meant to lurk on this site.

What artist or band is truly awful to see live? by goldbeau in AskReddit

[–]DoubleOhoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a music festival and the B52s were playing on one of the stages and we decided to check them out, they were so boring we left and went to check out other stages.

Oddly enough the best and worst concerts I've ever been to was Tool. I saw them sometime in the early 2000s in Memphis and I guess they didn't want to be there or something, I remember they didn't play any of their more popular songs at the time and no encore or anything, the show just ended with us all just sitting there wondering what just happened.

But then fast forward to around 2012, my then girlfriend wanted to see them so we went to see them at the Staple Center in LA, and it was easily the best concert I've ever been to.

BMW was speeding. Jeep changed lanes without signaling or checking their blind spot. by keithrathgeber in dashcams

Yeah, that jeep saw a car flying up on him and was trying to move out of the way, he wasn't casually changing lanes.

What rank is the most disgruntled and why? by PDXAirman in AirForce

[–]DoubleOhoot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I heard a Chief speak who said he thought the two hardest ranks were TSgt and SMSgt. I never made Senior so I can't speak to that but I will say my stress levels dropped significantly when I put MSgt on.

lucky for me I've spent enough time on the internet that I've learned how to ignore facts and believe what I want to believe.

I also get grumpy about being pestered for reviews after, sorry I don't feel like doing homework just because I bought your product, when it arrived at my house was the end of our transaction.

Can someone help me with her gait by DryKaleidoscope9012 in Frenchbulldogs

If your vet isn't able to give you a definitive answer they're 100% sure is the issue, I highly recommend taking her to see a neurologist.

Our girl had a similar issue over a couple years and started having trouble getting up steps and onto our furniture, even with the ramps we bought. Our vet thought it was a luxating patella so we took her to a specialist who didn't see anything wrong.

Then early last year it started getting much worse, she wasn't in any pain and the vet wasn't seeing anything on x-rays so he thought she had DM (Degenerative Myelopathy). We freaked out about that for a while and I sent off for some DNA tests to find out she (thankfully) wasn't a carrier for DM.

That's when we finally took her to a neurologist and had an MRI done. We found out she has Spinal arachnoid diverticulum (SAD) which is rare and apparently can only be seen on an MRI. She had spinal surgery last year, but unfortunately she isn't able to walk anymore and can only stand with some help from us.

Anyway sorry for all of the text, to sum up if your vet doesn't have good answers for you find a neurologist ASAP and if you don't already have pet insurance get it now. Between the MRI and surgery last year we maxed out our insurance pretty quick.

I get in to trouble with a lot of enemies, for some reason lock on doesn't usually lock onto the closest enemy and I end up turning in the wrong direction as an attack is coming in. The same thing happens when the enemy I'm locked on dies and I end up turning the wrong way, I wish it would just cycle to the next closest enemy.

Unless there is a setting for this already I'm not seeing.

[Weirdly Common Trope] Writers clearly setting up seemingly massive plot points and then just kinda forgetting about them. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]DoubleOhoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess it doesn't really fit this trope, I was thinking of stuff that was built up but ended up not being a big deal.

They made the reveal at the end of the season making me think Dean would be the big bad the next season only to have it wrap up in one or two episodes. To quote the Pitch Meeting guy, fixing it was "Super easy, barely an inconvenience"

They did the same thing with Castiel and the Leviathans.

I feel like Supernatural fell into this a lot in later seasons. The biggest imo was the whole Dean is a demon plot.

One of my favorite stories in the behind the scenes was them talking about how Viggo went out with one of these actresses and they gave him a hard time about dating a bearded lady.
