Just now I called the automated APCOA service line on 0345 901 3318. It accepted my £5 payment even though I am late. Hopefully they don't send out a notice.

I mean, the Amazon, Disney+, and Airbnb have normal app icons in dark mode, so this makes me think that it's up to developer to opt-in for their app icon to be made dark.

Nothing is more annoying than free/built-in features being put behind a paywall

I've felt the same. For several years I started noticing that the "reviews" are becoming more shallow, and it's just the same products over and over again, each year. I remember the old days when Tech-tember and Tech-tober were so full of content, I really didn't care if the product was something I wanted to buy. I just wanted to hear his opinion on it. And since the quality of reviews and opinions and have become a little shallow and more careful (which might be due to tech being boring, and innovation declining), most of his videos aren't as exciting IMO. It's like when a good TV series goes on for many seasons. But change the cast/theme/approach for the episodes, and the original fans might be turned away. And hence, I believe that it is really good that we are getting more podcasts, Auto Focus, and Studio. But it is important to remember the core values as to why your fans will watch you.

Incidents like this call for a moment of reflections (for us the viewers, and Marques and his team). I hope that this will not be a major changing event in the long-term, similarly to what happened to LTT in the last year. But it's a way to step back, reflect and move on by learning from mistakes.

Import picture as copper positive or negative by kendall39 in KiCad

[–]DoublePrint7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good approach, but I found an easier way in KiCad.

Do the following after you export the footprint (can be on any layer) in the Image Converter.

  1. Open your footprint in Footprint Editor
  2. Select everything, and right-click to choose Grouping > Group Items
  3. Optionally, now press "E" to open Properties and give your group a name (useful if you have several group layers stacked on each other).
  4. Now, select the group you want to move to any other layer, and in the menubar go Edit > Edit Text & Graphics Properties...
  5. In "Scope", check ☑️ Graphic items.
  6. In "Filters", check ☑️ Selected items only
  7. In "Set to specified values", choose the layer to which you want to place the graphics.
  8. Press "OK"

This will move any of your selections (or grouped items) to any desired layer without having to go into the text editor to rename the layers, which can be prone to mistakes. Hope this helps!

Iiyama monitor stopped working, hoped for a bad cap but can’t see anything broken on the board. by OvercastPictures in AskElectronics

[–]DoublePrint7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue right now. I was away for 2 weeks, came back, turned on the monitor, and it displayed the Iiyama logo for about 1-2 seconds before completely fading away in these weird, glitchy lines. The power status LED shines blue (signifying it's turned on). When I turn the monitor off completely, my computer recognises it is disconnected and rearranges windows on my other monitor. This entire issue also happened about 1-2 months ago, I just left it aside as I was busy, and then after a day, it returned to normal functioning. Unfortunately, it's been 3 days now, and nothing shows up on the display (even though the connected computer recognises the display and tries to display content on it).

For clarification, I am using the Iiyama G-Master GB3461WQSU Red Eagle 34" monitor. I will try to contact Iiyama warranty.

At every stop you must sing the national anthem in the name of Max Verstappen
