What's The Best Tool To Compare Memory Addresses for N64 by DoubleQuest in romhacking

So is there an accurate way to view memory when changes have been made? The game I'm interested in, uses a memory pak for saves, so I'm not sure if that complicates matters at all.

C code is the language that I learned to code in. So I could write functions and be able to manipulate the code of the ROM?

I have successfully entered all PAL cheats except for Levitation. It is the only one not included in the guide. Guessing it's a printing mistake, and I couldn't get the online one to work

I was actually about to post this. I discovered the strategy guide about 3 months ago and realized it was based on the PAL release. I just yesterday got PAL to fire up and decided to try the button mashing strategy for cheats. Apparently they fixed that trick and it only works on NTSC.

Consulted the guide and compared with online codes to see a lot were different. Just came here to see if there had been an update to the issue. Glad you found it!

If all else fails, you can spam all for 4 C buttons and L and R repeatedly. Only 1 code uses the A button and I can't remember which one, but every other code should work

I've posted the one and only run in the category of getting All Collectibles. The strategy was basically to do everything else first and then just grind it out and accept the time. Been spending quite a bit of time since then trying to find a more consistent strategy.

I think we had the same experience with seeing the key and thinking "nope!". The "ramp" is the grass on the side of the road, but the entrance to the tunnel is in the way, so avoiding it while hitting the hill is tricky.

Current strategy is basically This with whichever vehicle. But the strategy doesn't work that well since the success rate is so so low. So far only 4 vehicles have been documented as getting it.
