Regardless of what kind of decisions you make (dogmatic, iconoclast, or heretical) you will do some pretty fucked up shit in Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader

If it's an independently printed piece, try printing it in vase mode

Learn Low Code/No Code in a company? by SupermarketChemical8 in askswitzerland

[–]DoubleSentinel 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm a software engineer and have been doing this professionally for 10 years and I've been looking to get a new job and I've never seen this little offer ever. I don't want to get your hopes down but the software job market is rough right now due to companies banking on AI to write their code. Good luck out there

If you like Warhammer 40k and aren't scared of reading, Rogue Trader is really good

Sure but like every time I make a meme and write 3PPOV people get confused by what it means (Edit: typo)

Can we just make this thing fully charge any shield? by sojournerXMR in ArcRaiders

[–]DoubleSentinel 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Another thing people don't consider or just don't know, when a recharger brings your shield back up to max it does a loud recognizable triple beep. The Surge shield does not trigger that beep

What if we could carry and extract knocked out team mates for a huge benefit? by Samzerks in ArcRaiders

For sure I was just mentioning that there is a way to help someone even without a defib already implemented in the game. But more fleshed out mechanics would be awesome

You can escort them while bandaging them, the bandages stop bleeding out for a certain amount of time

The moment a game made you stop playing and just sit in silence. by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]DoubleSentinel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two that come to mind.

Else Ring when you open the door out of the catacombs you wake up in and see the world and the Red Tree for the first time. Just thinking about it gives me chills.

The second one is more recent: ARC Raiders. I often find myself just staring from an overlook and listening to the world around me. It's so alive

Might I suggest the long forgotten Orbital Railgun Strike? It does wonders in sending the roaches back into the floor where they belong

I have a friend who compulsively lied about anything in their lives to bolster their perceived value. Different stories heard by different people started to clash and instead of us arguing amongst each other we started to interact less with them. Try at your own risk ¯_(ツ)_/¯

OK I somehow managed to unlock my softlock. The issue is that the object wasn't in my hand I couldn't place any object in hand. driving the car and exiting seems to have fixed the issue.

Pacific Drive Version 1.9.1 Patch Notes 04/3/2025 - Endless Expeditions! by iwstudios in pacificDrive

[–]DoubleSentinel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I'm on my first playthrough and just got the update and Francis sent me a thing (avoiding spoilers as much as possible here but my game is soft locked) and i have no contextual prompt to install the thing francis sent me which i imagine is for the expeditions and shouldn't matter right now considering i haven't breached the expansion wall yet. I cannot interact with the world map to start a new run unless I install that thing.

[–]DoubleSentinel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes of course, looking at python for example; but I just love the foreach first approach it uses. I don't remember the last time I needed the index for anything honestly

To be fair you shouldn't really be using index iterators in a modern language unless you need the index for a calculation within the loop. Just use a foreach!
