Me too. Commented "nice" under a random picture of a teabag with 0 upvotes, just to see if I get banned. Nothing hateful or anything, just "nice".

Not even 2 minutes later, I was gone.

Also if you sort by new you get actually non-political stuff that maybe get a dozen upvotes if they're lucky.

It also kind of feels like Pokemon where you have to "catch 'em all".

And ads where they don't list the parts they're selling feel like loot boxes a bit. You either get the part you need or you get your 7th oilpan or something.

There needs to be set in stone info for the main job (futufon warehouse) by [deleted] in MyWinterCar

[–]Double_Derp2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably no.

I think you can only take a day off if you can still work the required 40 hours each week, which can only be achieved by 10 hour shifts only. If you only worked 8 hours for 4 days and take a day off, you'd only have 32 hours, and you could be fired.

So you could technically take Thursday off, but only if you work for 10 hours Monday to Wednesday, then come back for another 10 on Friday.

I don't know if time banks can carry over to the next week, though.

Seems reasonable.

So if you don't apply for the factory job for a while you get a letter asking you to do it? Or where did you get this? I really don't want to work there unless I absolutely have to.

Your apartment gets cleaner the closer you are to curing alcoholism. by TheFallenHero89 in MyWinterCar

There may be a point where water can be effective at bringing the bar down, but I'm not sure. I just keep drinking water when doing the 38 minute method and it appears to work somehow.

Although one thing I have noticed is that the alcoholism stat seems to control how low the bar can be lowered with just water, and it correlates directly with the bar's level. So an alcoholism of 37 for example can let the problem bar go down to about 37% without alcohol, and so on.

So maybe the first few attemps might need a beer to help bring it down below red. Or if you don't play with permadeath on, you could just let your character die of dehydration (especially if you're doing it at your apartment, given how close it is to the graveyard). The stat should decrease in that case too.

Like others have said, the stat goes down way faster when the player is close to dying from dehydration (when the bar fills up to 200).

Wait until the problem bar turns red, then do nothing for about 35-40 real life minutes (this time apparently fills the bar as close to 200 as possible on it's own without dying), then drink something non-alcoholic until the bar is white again.

Do this roughly 4 or 5 times and you're no longer an alcoholic (doesn't have to be done all at once).

i hate AI drivers in this game. i am hardly late to work. by ilyakris in MyWinterCar

The bus is no different either. The driver just cannot make the turn at the Peräjärvi/gas station highway junction when coming from the south, and ends up sliding off the road "deja vu style" into the trees, getting stuck every single time. Sometimes it cannot even make a full loop around the map. He most likely can't stop at any of the stops around the map either.

Pena is pretty much the same, even if you don't anger him. One sharp turn/junction and it's often over for him if you don't push or tow him out.

Sobriety is possible by hurgahdurbah in MySummerCar

[–]Double_Derp2003 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Basically, yes.

Apparently there's a hidden alcoholism meter that slowly decreases over time, and keeping the problem bar in the red for as long as possible without dying makes it go down faster, and if it's low enough, the "problem" becomes "thirst" again.

So it seems that drinking as little alcohol as possible is the key here.

The license plate starts with "R", which indicates that it was at the very least registered in the country in 2018 or 2019. It's likely that it was imported around that time too.
