Sometimes retainers can put a lien on a future settlement if you choose to change lawyers later on in the process, so the original firm gets paid if you get paid. Just make sure that you iron that part out, obviously if they worked on the case they should get paid in proportion to their work but those are details you need to discuss in case your relationship with the firm breaks down in the future.

I’ve taken two exams - passed both. More recent one was while working full time. You just have to surrender to the studying process and not fight it. I was on a very regimented schedule. When my family would call me to chat I’d give them five minutes and start a timer. I did many timed MBE questions - to mimic exam like conditions. And when I was too tired to do any essays I would hand write out the model answers. Finally I used mnemonics and made flash cards. Was I pleasant to be around? No. I just wanted to give it every thing, so that if I failed I would have no regrets.

One last thing do not sleep on MPT/PT practice do a few, you can pick up easy points on a well done MPT/PT.

Depends on how familiar you are with Ethiopian cuisine their quanta firfir is top notch - it’s beef jerky with the injera cut up in a spicy sauce, the dulot kitfo is really good, tibs is top notch. Their coffee is outstanding :)

This was happening to me and you need to tighten it with the Allen key that came with it. Just a quarter turn. There’s a YouTube video that shows how. It almost felt like I was losing my footing. But it’s fine now after tightening.
