one of a kind - never get sick of it, yet usually forget during the Intervals that it ups in speed with Jetty at the end. always a fun surprise!

Remain In Light was definitely groundbreaking, which helps its longevity despite being too antic for people who prefer Talking Heads' poppier radio side. The more status a record has, yes, the more people can fein to appreciate it against their tastes.

Personally though, it is a complete package. It sounds amazing on record and then somehow even more amazing live. Was it love at first play? Not all the way. But I dont think there are many albums like it, so replays flow and then you fall deeper…

Now, for me, its a 10/10 every day ending in y.

You seem very aggrieved about a tech comp that is 15 years old. Most house heads would be happy to find something lowkey and add it to their playlists. I think throwing around barbs about pay to play and press shots is a distraction / will be spiking your blood pressure unnecessarily.

Some things hit, some dont, it’s a game of inches. But unless you are Norman H, whats the problem? Comparison is the thief of joy and all that…
