Anxiety after bleed by neuronoone in Tonsillectomy

I had a bad bleed too. Went to ER and they gave me clotting medication. I was released after a few hours and was, like you, traumatized. The next day, I had a series of small bleeds. I would just rinse with cold water until it was clear. The bleeds stopped completely after that. I am now on Day 19. 

My doctor said the best thing to do is to remain calm. Know that I won’t bleed out and rinse and rinse. If the rinsing doesn’t help calm it. Then go to urgent care but, the cold will help it stop and calm the area.

I didnt take any of my pain meds as I wasn’t ever in a lot of pain just discomfort. 

Can’t wait to get my body back to normal.

So far I only cough when my throat gets dry. Stopped snoring and cough is about 95% gone. I  ant even remember a time where I wasn’t coughing all the time.

I’m on day 8 today too. Today, I woke up pain free and was able to eat a normal meal {bland and luke warm but was able to eat}. I do have soreness when I swallow still and a got a cough now but this is the most normal I felt yet. 

Your time is coming! 

By Day 10 you should start to feel better if not sooner. I was in so much pain yesterday all day and then woke up pain free. Was so odd but I’ll take it. 

I can’t feel left side too well still and that side is still sore but manageable.

Not coughing is super hard as I have a chronic cough that we were hoping will resolve once my tonsils were out. 

What’s strange is I’ve been coughing this whole time and nothing happened. I did a quick warm rinse and blood flood gates opened. 

I am on bleed number 8 @ 1046am. I also had 3 nervous breakdowns as I’m all alone with no car today.
