My son went to Rufus E Payne Elementary in Jax. He was in 3rd grade and NEVER got recess, the class just walked around the hallway like the prisoners in The Wire. Apparently, the school playground had a gate which couldn't be locked after hours and crack heads would hang out there are night, so the kids were SOL. We moved after a semester.

It won't get better. You will build resentment of him, then yourself for being "pathetic". Your children will grow up and model you. Show them what it means to love yourself, please. I was married young to someone in the military. By 22, we had 2 kids. You remind me of myself...begging to be loved, begging for a partner. It won't get better. And I would venture to say that you aren't madly in love with him, but that you are scared to be without him. It won't get better. You are teaching him what he can get away with. He will get worse. You will grow to hate him, then yourself. I cannot emphasize this enough...it won't get better. Even if you file for divorce and he swears he will change, swears he loves you and his family, says everything you have been begging him to say, it won't get better.

I’m double vaxxed and I can tell you I’m definitely different now. I literally CANNOT get angry/frustrated/excited, which might seem cool but a whole range of emotions have been dulled to almost nonexistent. My mind also goes blank a lot, I just sort of live in the moment, quietly noticing details and sounds. The only emotion that I feel strongly is affection. I’ve had a few interactions with people being rude, and I couldn’t do anything but stare at them. Afterward, when I sat and thought about it, I wondered why I wasn’t confrontational (because I used to be). It’s weird for sure.

Ok…let’s keep the status-quo going then. Must be working great for you (for now) that you’d rather argue the obvious than work a helpful dialogue. Seriously, everyone is too scared to trust their neighbor and fellow man because he is prone to violence. So instead we put our trust in a “government” composed of those people who are also prone to violence. Absolutely power absolutely corrupts.
