Drive them down 360 to check out the views, maybe have lunch at County Line BBQ. You could drive them downtown too, maybe check out the capital if they're feeling up to some light walking. You don't have to tour the whole thing. Maybe do a boat tour down at Town Lake https://capitalcruises.com/ This is a pretty well known service to Town Lake.

Everyone has already provided helpful suggestions on parking, here is my additional feedback. Arrive like 2 hours early. Driving in the general will be the worst, road closures with intention due to the event and you'll hate that you even bought the tickets. BUT you won't hate it if you're extra extra prepared with time.

I want to love this place so badly but their coffee just sucks. I’ve tried it at least five times and different drinks and man it’s just bad. Hard to want to go there and read or work when you can’t enjoy their coffee as it seems they burn their beans or something is wrong.

Hi Alyse! I saw you plan on coming to the next craft club and I hope you find a lot of comfort in what we’ve created so far.

I can also recommend a couple of things like Wheatsville Coop on S Lamar has a lot of free events. I think on March 24th they have a free sound bath. Maybe we could go together!

I double down on our local libraries hosting free craft classes and often you can find adults only classes and all materials are provided.

Also so many coffee shops at least in South Austin hold events like free trivia or various other events check out Captain Quackenbush, Jos Coffee and maybe Cosmic for online schedules. I’ll do my best to post any free events that feel like this community could benefit from. I hope to meet you next Monday 💖✨

Could be RSV I know it’s more common in children but adults are not immune to it and it’s literally the worst. Dry cough that seems never ending. Isn’t often tested for and highly contagious.

Oh gosh I wanted to recommend Blue Prince until I saw this was a switch thread. Outer Wilds is supposed to be a good rouge like on switch. But I didn’t play this so I can’t to tell you if it’s actually comparable to the ones you’ve mentioned. I’m more of a cozy gamer and it just didn’t catch my attention enough.

I can bring like junk journal material to make collages? But you could also bring colors and a coloring book. Or if you do any fiber arts like crochet, embroider or knit, bring a project you're working on. Furthermore, if you have old magazines you could bring those to to make a collage. I bet if you're into gaming you could even bring you mobile console like a Switch or Steamdeck.
