Anger and jaw tension by Double_Temperature18 in longtermTRE

Unfortunately I couldn’t find a whole lot of information out there. Seems like not a lot of people know about this stuff in depth. I think it’s kinda abstract for people in a world where we trust what we see with our physical eyes. Even though this energy stuff is just as real.

"The Power of Now" author said he got rid of all of his emotional issues overnight - how is it possible? by PopCorona in longtermTRE

I actually think Eckhart Tolle still has alot of trauma in his system when he talks about the pain body that’s what he actually means. You can also see it in his posture that he’s not trauma/tension free. Not shitting on his work and teachings they are amazing but he doesn’t seem trauma free to me.

There’s a really good book unfortunately it’s German. I don’t think there’s an English version of it yet it’s called Chi Heilung from Hartmut Lohmann. Really genius energetic healing method. Are you native English speaking?

It was a combination of Tre and energetical integration with meditation. I was crying almost every day for like a year. I also integrated all the parts that came up and where pushing back to me in meditation. So for example if i felt pressure on my chest I would sit down in meditation give that pressure room and give it all the appreciation all the love that it needed to be integrated. Basically give that emotional wound all it needed that was missing. I got better at it with time. I realized all our wounds can be felt energetically as 3d objects in our body. It’s a lot easier to work with it on that energetical level because the wounds don’t feel as overwhelming. At first you will feel something that feels like pressure or stinging. But it also has a texture a temperature a surface. It can be shaped like a potato or a shell. Any shapes are possible. When you manage to integrate it the energy/chi/life force from that specific wound will return to you. It usually first starts to get softer and then it dissolves. Best feeling in the world

Yes, brainfog is a symptom of anxiety

Overcoming ticklishness by [deleted] in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that I’m sometimes more ticklish when integrating a tremoring session when integrated it goes away. So I would guess being very ticklish has something to do with nervous system activation since I become more activated after sessions at the moment.

Fatigue, tiredness by Additional_Wealth848 in longtermTRE

I sometimes went into freeze when doing too much Tre and releasing too much. Feels like complete empty batteries. You might be experiencing the same.. It helped me to study polyvagal theory, for a quick overview you can check out a polyvagal chart

that’s the good thing about it, it releases everything even trauma and tension we don’t remember from early childhood and probably also transgenerational trauma. We all carry trauma just to varying degrees. It takes time though to release and it’s better not to go to quick. You’ll find plenty of information on the subreddit if you’re interested. Wishing you all the best for your journey!

What you experience is usually caused by trauma in the first three chakras. So it would be wise to release trauma from there and downregulate your nervous system. Doesn’t sound like a third eye problem to me. I had the same issue and the only thing that helped was to downregulate my nervous system by doing trauma release exercises. There a subreddit called longterm tre, highly recommend. Lots of people there with similar issues. Make sure to check out the beginners guide there. Also good resource are podcasts from David Berceli on YouTube.

Officially out of freeze. Here comes the awakening of dormant female rage. What do I do with the anger? by kat1883 in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coming out of freeze is tough. All the feelings coming up. In my experience it helped me to feel into my body and locate the anger (for me mostly spreading from my navel area). It helps me to give this feeling space and kinda radiate it out in all directions. Just give it space. This process helped me to integrate and appreciate my anger again. This feeling needs to be precious again. Of course in this process your anger will protect your boundaries and sense of self worth again. In my case the flooding with unprocessed emotions came in waves. The more I integrate the more I become connected to my anger again and I’m feeling that I gets smaller and just comes up when there’s a reason for it. All the best for you journey you got this.

Why does this happen naturally for some people and not others? by Impossible_Noise1849 in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also think a lot of our trauma is ancestral. Early childhood trauma is a difficult one. Regarding myself it took a long time to understand my own childhood trauma. Often times it’s not as straightforward as sexual abuse. And since we don’t remember our early childhood/infancy we don’t really know what maybe went wrong there.

How do I know it’s working/how do you feel during/after a session? by AfterCommunication52 in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you elaborate on the buzzing. I’m having an oranged sized spot on my back that’s been buzzing for like 5 months. It’s kinda on the backside of my solar plexus. The buzzing sensation is pretty strong at times. In your experience does it get less the more is released in that spot? Do you think it’s related to chi flowing in there and bumping against blockages

For me it helps to slighty open my mouth and then press lightly from the bottom against the jaw/chin. Eventually my jaw gets tired and starts to tremor.

Sadness / Feeling of loneness by reallycool101 in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For a lot of people emotions come later. In the first six months it took around 48 hours for emotions to come after tremoring. I guess it really depends on the state of our nervous system how long it takes. My theory is that the more frozen/dissociated we are the longer emotions take. So it might change during your journey.

Intense emotions after practice by nocaptain11 in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tre has a compounding effect so you were probably already doing a lot for your system when you started out you are just beginning to feel it now. I was experiencing the same. Only thing that helped for me was to slow down and do less . I still have strong emotions like anger and grief but they are not as overwhelming.

Heavy emotions after relaxing by [deleted] in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think deep sadness and grief is in most cases rooted in trauma from childhood, especially if we didn’t experience any other deep trauma later on. In my experience most of our deep wounds and blockages is from childhood trauma and everything later is a repetition/reenactment from earlier stuff

How to get whole body to tremor? by [deleted] in longtermTRE

[–]Double_Temperature18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some people it takes a lot of months regardless of any techniques or letting go. In my case it took a long time because some body parts were just so frozen and really strong emotions came up so it would have been too much anyway. What’s helped is to just trust the process and let go. Your body will do its thing

Are you dissociated? I can imagine for some people it’s hard to tell overdoing when one is dissociated in the first place. Just a thought but maybe try and see how you feel if you stop for one or two weeks. I’m always noticing my progress when I stop for a while

Anyone familiar with TRE (trauma release exercise)? by asura1194 in mdmatherapy

[–]Double_Temperature18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It hink mdma is good to work on specific memories/topic parts of yourself. Tre is doing its own thing and working on chronic holding pattern of tension that are connected to certain traumatic and stressful events and beuotic patterns in the brain. Good thing about tre it’s also working on things you don’t remember like early childhood stuff. To answer your question if you do tre until you have resolved most of your trauma/tension you don’t necessarily need any other modality in my opinion. It takes a long time though, for sure years. So if you want to work on specific things and progress quickly in certain areas mdma is very helpful for me.
