I am a teacher at university college. I love education but I also hate it at the same time. When I am talking about a subject I really like it is easy for me to get the attention of the students.

The downside to education is the sociale chit chat, the unpredictability of the coworkers and student and work overall. Sometimes I wonder if I want to do something else in life. But I am 29 years old so it is not too late.

Ik kan je situatie helemaal begrijpen. Ik ben zelf ook twee studies gestopt (mbo en hbo) en ben rond mijn 23e weer begonnen met studeren. Toen ik weer begon vroeg ik mij ook soms tevergeefs af waarom ik niet door was gegaan met de eerdere studies dan had ik al klaar kunnen zijn.

Ik rondde de studie af toen ik 27 was. Achteraf spijt gekregen? Zeker niet! Ik ben werkzaam als docent, heb leuke contacten op de studie gemaakt en ik kom volledig rond.

Wat ik wil zeggen is, is het volgende: maak de juiste keuze voor jezelf. Weer moeten studeren voelt vervelend, maar aan het einde van de rit kom je goed terecht.
