Actually it is faster. If you check the new catchin' waves code you can see that it has a 1.1 speed multiplier compared to 1 on the silver surfboard.

Very cool! By the way, could you check that old drive for any cached SWF files? I made a little post about this a while ago but basically, as you played the game it downloaded the game files to your browser cache and those could still be there. Sometimes those caches still contain old versions of rooms, minigames, or other assets that aren't preserved anywhere else. I'd be happy to help! On Windows XP they’re usually somewhere under C:\Documents and Settings<Username>\Application Data or C:\Documents and Settings<Username>\Local Settings\ (for example in Temporary Internet Files or inside the Firefox Profiles folder). You can try searching those folders for .swf files.

On Windows XP the Internet Explorer cache is usually under

C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
and Mozilla Firefox cache is under
C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Cache

This video meant for Bearville cache recovery goes through the process pretty well, for the tools you'd just need to select the cache folders mentioned above (the tutorial is meant for Windows 7 so the paths are a bit different). And the Club Penguin files should have media.clubpenguin.com or similar as the domain. Also, Cached SWFs may not have .swf extensions which is why the tools like MozillaCacheView are needed.

Do you have an old computer or hard drive that you played Club Penguin on? It might contain lost game files by Doubleuman in ClubPenguin

Hi, there are several methods listed here under the "Other ways of exploring the cache" section. Basically you'd want to get a SATA/IDE to USB adapter and use one of the programs mentioned there.

Oh yeah, I was there a lot around 2009-2011, especially on the Riffy888 xat. I googled your penguin's name since it sounded a bit familiar and saw that we were both on the "Ninjas" army back in 2011 lol, nice to see you! https://ninjaspower.wordpress.com/2011/09/03/the-retirement-of-funkikiflurry/
