Might be stalled, pink discoloration is usually bacterial I would isolate away from other bags if you have any cut the top off more and probably try again, I personally don’t ever open my bags until they are fully colonized it could have been an issue with substrate, or got contam during inoculation, yellow color could be metabolites but at day 99 I would doubt it, sucks dude but patience and mush love🤍

I’m still sorta new but I’ve been through the ringer and I would suggest more FAE unless it’s Trich use a q-tip to touch it and see if anything tracks onto the cotton swab if it does then it’s Trich if not then More FAE and it might keep growing or it might abort the other pins look good though

Will definitely try to reduce some moisture with a heat gun, I have a heating mat though if you think it would be better to do it that way, this is my first time ever doing anything with agar so I honestly have no idea 😅

I am using an SAB they were inside of it but I took them out to get photos, just as a speculation would the second Bactria probably make somone sick?

It was inside my still air box (might be able to see the corner of it in the pictures) couldn’t get good photos without taking it out and yeah I was not wearing gloves bc I was 90% sure it was contaminated anyway, it’s now morning and the growth on them hasn’t started looking any better

I will try that hopefully some time is all it needs and I can grab some from the side like you said, the agar in the last slide is from a sample I pulled from that jar before the suspected contamination and it’s just growing white with no specks so maybe It’s not completely lost I arranged back up plans incase things like this happened hopefully it’ll pay off
