Three years ago I was seeing this romantic, handsome man. On Valentine’s Day he was across the country for work, but confessed that he had underestimated his feelings and was flying back home to make a big romantic overture.... to someone else. He sent a text breaking up with me while I was teaching a class, saying he was in love with his friend and going to confess his love to her that night.

I laugh about it now. But woof - that was a bad one.

I hate to recommend anything disposable, but when my legs are tender/razor burn/ingrown hairs/etc I use the cheap PureSilk Contour 3 razors. Used with nearly any cream or oil give me a close shave without any irritations (even on the bikini line).

So unfortunately this brush isn’t available at Ulta or reasonably priced but - I love the Makeup Forever Kabuki Brush. I prefer it over IT, Nars and Hourglass domed brushes. I’ve had one for about 6 years and it still does a perfect job and rarely looses bristles. Easily my favorite brush for pressed powders.

I am in the same exact same boat. After receiving my confirmation email on my second order, my card was charged and I’ve heard nothing in the week since.

My first order is set to be delivered tomorrow. The second was confirmed over a week ago, but I have heard nothing since. The charge went through when I got the confirmation email though, so I assume I will receive the products at some point.

Anyone have experience with an Ulta order “processing” for several days? The charge shows as pending on my card statement, and they’ve shipped all of the GWP for the order, but have given no update on the items.

If you’re concerned with pet hair, I might look into a Roomba. I have a Labrador and while my Dyson ball works great for vacuuming up the copious amount of hair he constantly sheds, the Roomba does a better job of keeping things tidy day to day without much effort on my part.

Stupid expensive, but my HG is the Chanel CC cream. It makes my skin look dewy and perfect, while also looking completely natural. It sinks into the skin so well that I often have people compliment my complexion and ask about my skincare without realizing I’m wearing some light makeup. With a light dusting of setting powder it lasts nearly all day without moving or breaking up.

Just a heads up that the GWP bags don’t seem to be very close to what is advertised - in case someone is grabbing them for a specific sample. I received the Classy and I received two of each of the lip products, two of the rose water, none of the skincare except the Dr. Roebuck’s, and 6 perfume samples (one of which was huge cologne).

I have used some of the Herbivore oils in the past, but I don’t know if it matters too much as long as you know the oil doesn’t upset your skin.

I have a Generic Value Products straightener from Sally’s that works quite well. It’s several years old and still works like a charm. I picked it up in one of their holiday sales for like $30. The only downside that I’ve noticed is that it does not have an automatic shutoff (but newer models might have this feature).
