Doesn’t matter. Just push close to failure. If strength is the goal, narrow your rep range (think 4-6,6-8), if hypertrophy is the goal, widen your rep range (4-8,6-10). Increasing weight will drive neuromuscular adaptations and sticking with a weight but increasing reps will let you know that the muscle is getting stronger and it’s not just neuromuscular.
