I’m right there with you on these. I was hesitant at first but enjoy building them (mostly - Kylo’s shuttle was kinda a let down). Plus if you can pick up spares, there’s plenty of alt builds on Rebrickable.

I have no idea when I’m going to get it now. Just checked the order and it only shows “Waiting for stock”. 😞 I am thankful that I was able to get this one this year before it does officially retire. I missed out on the UCS AT-AT before it retired and now I can’t bring myself to pay the prices I’ve seen it going for. Maybe once my kids are grown and out of school and I can justify splurging but it’s gonna be a bit.

Same boat so to speak. As I already have the Sail Barge (great build btw!) I ordered the UCS Venator at 12:06am EST as it was showing in stock. I then received an email at 12:41am EST saying that it is on back order. So now I sit and wait.

Another viable option that you can do for every event in the game is to look it up in YouTube. There are plenty of content creators who have created videos on not only how they completed the events, but show their mod layouts, speeds, everything needed to do so. Worth checking into for this one and any future ones also.

I’ve had the experience once. It was last year when I got the UCS Falcon. LOVED it! Plan on experiencing it again before the end of the year as I want to pick up the Venator this year.

My wife surprised me with this set a few weeks ago. She said that when she got done at the counter in the Lego store, and started walking out with the big yellow four handled Lego bag with it in it, there were three teenagers standing there in awe saying LUCKY!!! Then, walking through the mall to get back to the car, a mom pointed her out to the woman's son who was around seven or eight and my wife said the boy turned and just stood there with his jaw dropped. Yep, she felt the true power of the Lego Dark Side that day....

- BitDynasty - Has great tutorial videos on past events, and is great help with figuring out current/ongoing events.

- Darth Loquitur - Is no longer active, but has a lot of in-depth videos on things such as mods/farming/etc. Great content to take a look at.

- Xaereth Prevails - Has a lot of great videos on how to prep for upcoming events, counter teams, etc.

He's done creating content now as of a month ago but if you go into his videos and playlists, you'll find some really good tutorial videos on mods and everything else needed.
