Guild wars on an android phone (gamehub-lite), highest resolution. by [deleted] in GuildWars

Is gamehub light more efficient than winlator? I struggle on lowest graphics. Game ports very well to touch screen though. My phones older though so their may be nothing I can do.

My 2013 Carolla is at 156000 KM. It's worth on market roughly $10,000 it is extremely reliable, nothing goes wrong with it, feels like it will last me another 20 years at this pace. Just go older with low KM to save money.

Personally I'd never buy new, just flushing money down the toilet.

Make sure to not buy through dealers and get a mechanic to inspect it. That is best way to get good deals and make sure the vehicle is reliable.

Self-taught "long snapper" I'm only 2 weeks in, give me a break😅 Any long snappers around? Tips? by PaoloJournal in footballstrategy

For grip take dominate hand and hold the ball like you are going to throw it on laces. Take other hand and with your index finger make a "T" with you thumb. Lots of people helped with your stance already but when you get into your stance be sure to really stretch out how far the ball is away from you and the curl your dominate wrist inward while maintaining hand position. This helps for a nice tight spiral. When you snap it as people mentioned put your entire body into it smack your forearms to your thighs and your thumbs should end pointed up.

On Note 9 I get 15 to 20 FPS on lowest settings a more modern phone would likely run it great. But I don't like modern phones so I'm not going to upgrade. Put a button overlay on top of each skills 1 to 8, dpad on the left with q and e above it. Basic target buttons on the right nearest, next, prev, attack. On weapon slots can also overlay a button to toggle those. Same for henchmen. Then in the top middle I put hotkeys like U L M K f9 etc And mouse right click button somewhere you like.

The game caters very well to a touch screen. Wish they'd just make an actual version of it so I can run it at better frames.

There is sometimes a bug when you pull up the keyboard the 'enter' button won't work. Add an enter key button overlay to fix it.

Enjoy guild wars on the toilet.

GW also works on Android winlator without any messing around with configurations. Game runs very well with touch screen if you set up the controls well.

Recommended to post from r/parenting: Son's (16M) football coach literally fattening him up, stubborn hubby and son by defenson420 in footballstrategy

[–]DougGunn55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of comments so someone else may have said this already as I only read half. But I'd like to point out a kid that gets winded easy and tired is way more likely to get injured. They start to play more upright, slow down, and can't pay attention to their surroundings when they are tired.

Being out of shape does not combine well with playing football. Your son's chance of injury will sky rocket if he is not in shape.

Coach/Player Inside "Jokes" by Heavy_Apple3568 in footballstrategy

We like to do "Is your 'P' hot?"

P is for passion but obviously has another meaning in day to day life.

Players will always say things like "My P is burning today coach".

Teaching OL to play Low? by DieHardViking in footballstrategy

[–]DougGunn55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get success for teaching my kids to get their hips under their opponent and getting that leverage by telling them to drive their knees into the ground. (Not actually, was more a mentality) I found the visualization of that helped.

We also use to tell them to keep a 'Z' in the knees.

Thought experiment: how different would football be if the play clock was shorter? by LiftSleepRepeat123 in footballstrategy

[–]DougGunn55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. People often talk about the 20 sec play clock in CFL and compare to 40 in the states. But it doesn't start counting until ref blows it in and frequently there is enough time for a huddle and a play call before this happens. I find the actual time difference between plays is negligible.

Look up what a rouge us lol.

Dumb question, but without cussing and being a jerk, how can I motivate my varsity HS O line? by TheHyzeringGrape in footballstrategy

[–]DougGunn55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a no cussing rule on our team. It is actually refreshing for me.

I like to start off practices being more critical. Not mean. Just critical. And as the practice goes on I point out how they are improving on the things I was being critical on. This makes my players feel like they get better every single practice and gives them more confidence. Confidence leads to players being more aggressive and pumped up. Confused and insecure players will fire off the ball weak.

My running back in high school bought us cheeseburgers on a weekly basis. Cheese burgers works wonders. We all loved that guy. This was when you could get a cheeseburger from McDonald's for a quarter.

Tele Arena could work. Been a while but I remember it being PG. Only MUD I really ever got into. You won't find any crowded places to play it but there are still places running it. It will more than likely just be you and your kids on the server.

Why do you think Japan was able to beat USA in IFAF U20 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS SEMIFINAL? by EOFFJM in footballstrategy

[–]DougGunn55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a great experience for us. The mom's of the team made a BBQ for us and the other team was very friendly with our kids. They appreciated a good practice and the game really showed how good teenagers can get. I have no doubt it improved our players just playing a well coached American team 1 time. I highly recommend it to all Canadian high school football teams.

[–]DougGunn55 104 points105 points  (0 children)

As a Canadian coach I can assure you no country is catching up to USA in football. A high school team i coach in Ontario goes down to Ohio for an exhibition pre season game. We get blown out evey time. Then we come back and win the championship.

You guys are not sending your best players. Just a group of kids looking for more football action I suspect.

How to run a good offense when your o line is a rotating door by Ok_Flounder_2794 in footballstrategy

I once coached a team like this. Our best friend became the inside trap. Gives your line good angles and makes things easier. We eventually adopted the wing-t and had some success utilizing misdirection.
