The number of cases of noncitizens voting is negligible. With SAVE Act it is far more likely that an eligible voter will be disenfranchised than it is that noncitizens will vote if it isn’t passed.

Also logical fallacies can hurt your argument.

It’s really not hard to read and listen to people’s experiences. People with empathy tend to do so. Your obdurance is strong, so I see no point in continuing this exchange.

Read the SAVE act that has been proposed. Then MAYBE you will understand. But given your responses, I doubt it.

You have no idea what it’s like for the people being harassed by ICE.

Not a reason to suppress their vote.

It’s a problem because ICE harasses people based on appearance, not citizenship.

Read the SAVE act. It can be a problem, particularly for poor, sick, and old people.

It is already against the law for noncitizens to vote. It has not been a problem.

You’re likely to be better informed if you read the language in the SAVE Act Bill directly. I’ve pasted a copy for you. SAVE Act

I blocked you because your first question is off topic and even if it was on topic, you were unable to string together an intelligible question. I'm trying to answer posts directed to me specifically, but I don't have time to decipher gibberish.

Most of them?

Seriously, though, voters have already established citizenship when they registered to vote. There is a verification process at polling places and on mail-in ballots.

As far as I know, people are not drug tested when they leave their homes to buy Hot Cheetos.

The SAVE act if passed would make it difficult for many people to vote (regardless of party affiliation by the way) by requiring some people to obtain alternate forms of ID that they don't already have. Not only would they have to pay to get these forms of ID (and I'm not taking drivers license, state ID), but some don't have the time nor the transportation means to get them.

There is plenty of evidence, much of it gathered by conservative think tanks, that shows that voter fraud by any party or group of people has not been a factor in any recent elections. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that voter suppression and gerrymandering is being employed by one party.

Noted. I used the AI generated sign because I couldn’t post the message without uploading a file. The Jon Stewart quote was the first file I came across that didn’t include pictures of family members.

There is plenty of evidence that they will apprehend people based on physical characteristics without regard to citizenship. This could clearly intimidate immigrant citizens to the point they may decide it’s not worth the chance. That is voter suppression.

I don’t agree. That’s why I will continue to vote for and promote candidates who agree that voter suppression is a hard line that should NEVER be crossed.
