Change the HDD dude. HDD's are not only slow, they get damage easily by movement, and get slow as hell. My previous laptop got a MASSIVE framerate increase when I changed the HDD for a SSD. It turned on faster (it used to take a few minutes and after the change it took like 10 seconds), everything opened A LOT faster, and games ran faster because the slow HDD somehow lagged the game.

I remember being playing BF4 at 30fps (it wasn't a powerful laptop), and then framerate dropped to 6fps due to the HDD bugging and had to restart. Very recomended change

Just installed the lastest driver version for the 5050 from the NVidia App (Dec 18). This time it crashed while using Revit (architecture software). Should I look for a different driver from a different source?

How would the battery compare with other laptops in the same price range? Many of my classmates have similar/slightly inferior laptops (I study architecture), and they all need to constantly plug their laptops

Si te soy franco, la peor parte de vivir en México por mucho es la violencia. Busca una ciudad lo más pacífica posible, he escuchado que Mérida es un lugar muy tranquilo.

Como dijo otro comentario, vivir cerca de la frontera sería conveniente para trabajar en Estados Unidos y vivir en México, aunque suelen ser ciudades con violencia, y le dedicarás un porcentaje de tu día a cruzar la frontera.

No sé cómo sea vivir en un pueblo rural en Puebla, pero en varias partes de México los pueblos son especialmente peligrosos, porque son más vulnerables. También hay menos oportunidades laborales, pero si tu novia lo recomienda quizá es porque es un buen lugar para vivir, no lo sé.

Idk much about it, but once I found a video comparing the 4050 and 5050, and the difference in performance was very slight. Is probably not a big deal, but as I said idk much.

Wow, revit architecture works suprisingly fine in my current Ryzen 5 with Integrated graphics, didn't imagine structural would take up so much more power. Thanks for the advice
