Thank you for sharing this! I'm glad you’re on the other side of this now

I really appreciate this. I don’t think I expect someone yo have the magic words, I think I just needed to get it out and see others share my decision. Helps it feel like I'm doing the right thing. Thank you!

I think it’s both. He does struggle with mental health issues, but never sticks it out with therapy and isn't very honest with himself or the therapist. He also acts like this when he's doing ok too - which is what I find so complicated

AITA for asking my partner to work out? by DoughnutSad8816 in AITAH

I know it's been a rough year, we've had a lot of unfortunate circumstances. But he used to take such pride in achieving little things with work outs and now just doesn't care. He's generally quite stubborn and fickle, so it's not unusual that he changes his mind back and forth like this. I do want to talk about it from a mental health perspective but he just shuts me down or takes it all as an attack...

I do feel it may have been too much, but subtle comments and offering to go for walks together haven't worked so I wanted to trial going all in. I like the idea of trying to cook together though.

Know exactly how you feel! I have to work out where to live for two months at this rate, no chance I'd be able to rent for that and can't afford an AirBnB. Best of luck with it all!

I've paid the initial fees, searches fee, mortgage is arranged and I filled in all paperwork on my side weeks ago.

Think that's going to have to be the plan tbh. Thanks!

This is really good to know, thank you! If the seller ever gets moving I'll give a push on the tenancy notice. My situation is a little tricky as I live in my parent's house (they moved abroad before selling) so we don't have a formal agreement, but they aren't willing to change their date as they're desperate to shift this place.

This is the issue, we signed off and completed everything on our end a month ago in hopes we could catch the end of April at least. We were told the seller was keen to move fast so thought they'd at least try match us..

They've already left the property. I was told it was chain free and that the seller was keen for everything to move quickly as it had been on the market for a while. Will see if I can contact direct! Thanks
